Value For Money : Excellent
Amplifier transistors.
0.5, 1.5 and 5W RMS.
Plugged in or battery, the adapter comes with. They are nice at Vox eh?
Headphone jack, can connect a microphone on it, or play a CD by scraping over it.
11 models (in order 2 clean, 3 blues, 2 crunch, and a drive higain 3), 11 effects (reverb, chorus, delay, rotary, auto wah, compressor, tremolo). A key "tap" that adjusts the return of such delay. Well thought out, very practical.
Adjust volume, tone, gain, effects.
Small regret: the 6.5-inch HP which makes them well obviously not serious, it is a shame. Anyway, to keep it portable, had to make compromises. I said nothing, then.

UTILIZATION

Configuration very clear, everything is well done it: the names are listed everywhere, can not be mistaken, unless one is blind. It's politically correct what I say?

To get a good sound is another story. Actually it's not terribly complicated, but when you do not know much, I think we can quickly be lost. Because it is very nice, all these models, and all these effects, but be aware some sort this out, otherwise it informs the spray guaranteed! And it happens faster than you think. Finally, once you got it just for the purpose of each channel, and what each effect, you get a good sound in months time than it takes to make a U turn in a pancake the pan.

The manual is very complete, nothing to complain about it. Everything is explained precisely, the installation of the unit to the editing effects, through the principle of each mod. In addition, they make even small jokes. They are funny, in Vox, eh?

SOUNDS

It should be not so bad for my style of music. Let's say I have a small hard side and soft-rocker fan barely repressed, and in this respect there, DA5 it provides no masses. The large distortion is not really his thing. But apart from that, it is super versatile.
I play it without effects (wahoo, roots right? Swath, rather) with a Washburn X50 Pro and a Squier Affinity Start that I have exhumed, and spends his days in the open floor. She does it well indeed. But I digress.

Then describe all the sounds can be achieved with an amp mod ', it is an obstacle course ...
For a nice clear sound, just put the reverb (which is not bad in fact, surprisingly good), and is stalling on a clean or a blues for rhythm and clean 2, 2 blues, 1 crunch or drive down to gain the arpeggios.
For the more hairy, the drive is fine for good acute and crunch provides for two more medium / low.
In the interim, simply adjust the gain and tone. It's super effective, the beast is a monster versatility. Normal indeed. Is also quite hack the effects can be achieved with sound well funny.

I like the sounds, it is good blues arpeggio mode 2, the limit of the crunch, style dire straits, it's really very nice, very good rhythmic crunch of rock and roll 2, it s like rolling stones 'almost like it, and the drive channel for large solo thick hair! Yum! Level effects, as mentioned above, the reverb is top, I like the compressor too, the delay (if not properly adjusted is the horror) and the rotary are also friendly.
Avoid the clean one that lack of energy, I feel rather insignificant, but it will not hurt anyone. 1 ditto the blues, a little too stuffed serious. The Higain 2 and 3 are quite dégueus and drool a lot, to do exploits règlométriques for an operation, and still is not really breathtaking, so much the user Higain 1, which is not great either, but certainly much better. Avoid like the plague, auto-wah effect! Unless you want the sound yucky as possible. In this case, micro scratches in double acute thoroughly tone on the amp auto wah, drive and gain background on how higain 3. You will not be disappointed. Neighbors either.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for the Thanksgiving holiday. Driven by need, my brother screaming because my LC30 yelled louder than him. So for a month and a half.

What I like most with mister DA5 is that it is so versatile that I can lug around (ideal for shine in society), and I can play with headphones on, to be careful not to disturbing others. I am more considerate.
The least that large distos. Clearly the weak point of this amp. The faultless is for another time, Vox!

I tried the Fender Champion 600, 5W lamps, it's totally something else, and more than twice as much. Less easy to carry, much less versatile, it does not really fit the specifications that I had set. Level and sound, the Vox has little to envy in the end.
Put my hands on the Microcube Roland too, and there, I hate the sound is rough, full of serious, I find unusable. It sounds not, it seems the noise would be a can on which strikes at the very bottom of a tunnel under a blanket in the shower. Berk. But hey it's subjective.

I had the model show, so I paid € 99 in store, this is an excellent value for money.
With experience (less than two months is not crazy either), I do it again of course this choice, it is very convenient and gives a nice sound.
