Ampeg introduces this week in Anaheim the new SCR-DI preamp, DI and overdrive pedal for bass.
The Ampeg SCR-DI is designed for bassists who love the Legacy Ampeg sound and want to use it without having to change their amps. The pedal uses the classic Ampeg tone stack circuits (3-band EQ) and Ultra-Hi/Ultra-Lo preamps, as well as the Scrambler overdrive to reproduce tones ranging from the Portaflex to the SVT.
The overdrive circuit is footswitchable and includes dedicated Drive and Blend controls.
The SCR-DI features out, thru and headphone out jacks, an XLR DI output with ground lift, as well as 1/4” and 1/8 aux inputs.
The bass pedal will be available this Summer. More info at www.ampeg.com.
