- What connection?
_3 CV OUT channel, 2-1V / 1 v (2 octaves) or -5 / +5 v (10 octaves) A and B and a channel 0 / +5 v which is usually allocated to an initial gain MS20 or MS10
_1 Multitrig OUT
_1 Reset trig OUT notably allows the trig loop
_12 Assignable trig that you want, including the reset!
IN _1 step that allows + or - synchronize with a BAR (korg preferably for trig) or with another 10 sq.
_1 Start / stop IN
_3 IN clockspeed to control the speed of the LFO CV
_2 Mixing IN and OUT 1 mixer, giving the possibility of a sequencer 24 steps
No MIDI, no effect!
UTILIZATION
So easy, no need for manual, it is understood when it was under the eyes.
SOUNDS
It is a CV sequencer, so no sounds, no effect, not realistic!
However the lines of programming that can be done with a MS20 or MS10 is the most beautiful effect, it is squealing filters, were shackled and they lie (verb pair) notes, the portamento, in new ways ! Great!
OVERALL OPINION
I use this machine for at least 2001 (Space Odyssey), and I always thought it was great, although this machine just generate some frustrations, such as:
_ "But not why they put such a function?
But finally with a little imagination we can always find a side road, and finally "it's better than if it was not the same" (Swedish proverb)!
The concerns are:
_ Not just 12, it is very frustrating (yes, really!) _
_No memory, but it is ultimately no big deal
_No of on / off in each step (like drum machine or TR), so it can be emulated by the last line of 0 / +5 v, but it's not the same!
Otherwise it gets really cool when one grabs a second. In effect it allows a bunch of silly connections of beautiful effect.
Finally, I love this machine I do not separate them for anything!
