vArranger vArranger 2

vArranger 2 has been on my quad core Windows Vista PC for a few year now. I hardly ever really used it after purchasing it for a discounted rate years ago. The vArranger 2 isn’t that expensive to begin with, but after purchasing it for 50 percent off (which was the only reason I really got it because I didn’t need it) I only messed with it a few times off and on. The potential that the vArranger 2 has is very exponential. You can really do a lot with it, I didn’t even hear about this until I was on the forums online and hear someone else talking about it. I have never seen a manual for vArranger 2. I have not had any compatibility issues with it either. As I said It has only been on my quad core pc and not my macbook or any other system.


SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

The software seems to work great in its configuration and works just like it is suppose to . I have seen it crash, but I really have not used it long enough to dig deep into it and test to see how it can handle a real work load. It has been installed on my system for about a could years, but total time using it I would say may add up to around a month and a half. I probably wont use it again, just because I don’t have a need for it. But I think if you are looking to purchasing it, it is a great buy! You will love it and it will grow on you even if you aren’t a beginner.


OVERALL OPINION

The best part of the vArranger 2 that caught my attention is the midi maps and sequencing. They are very fluid and easy on the eye. The sequencing is very “tight” and accurate. I have seen other versions of vArranger but this is the only one that I currently have installed on my system. Very good starting program, or could be good for a music veteran. It really comes down into what your liking and taste is In your midi programming.

Installation could not be more simple
As with any arranger, it maps the midi channels of the instrument driver and arranger.
A manual (. Pdf) very well done there for 2 months. Since then the user first, I did not have to use it, but I have read and appreciated. The challenge is to keep up to date because the speed at which developments are outside the designer's brain, the librarian has work to do. But it keeps pace.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

I have a notepad HP1050 EF touch with 2GB RAM running Win7, nothing too powerful. And it works without problem. Not to be annoying, I never connect the PC to the internet and it allows me to remove any artifice or uselessness of the standard config and give all the power I can VA2.
I use a MIDI accordions Roland FR-7b, an Edirol 3x3 midi interface and a Ketron SD2. Finally I use a MIDI pedal Boerhinger FCB1010 but that seems to me generate some instabilities occasionally. I have to address this concern. But the software does not seem concerned. No instability if I do not use the FCB1010.

OVERALL OPINION

I have been using early versions. I have almost all the race condition (Biaba, Jammer, livestyler ,...) is true that at the time I bought a donkey in a sack. This kind of mindless buying me often plays tricks but in case it was a godsend. I have completely abandoned the other. It has two advantages unmatched in my opinion:
1.Il is very effective: I plug ... I play, no adjustments in countless menus and many misclassified
2. It rings of hell. And for a music software, it seems essential.
I will not numétoter benefits but pell-mell:
- Recognition of styles and Yamaha Ketron (free library of thousands of styles)
- Midi and MP3 Player
- Displays partoche automatically (txt, pdf, jpg ...)
- Enter a sequence of agreement to rotate in a loop for Chorus
- A simple and direct contact with the designer who can request changes or new features. If your arguments are good, you have your new version in the next few days with NO MONEY ADD.
Well, I think that's enough, you'll pznser I am involved then it's just my opinion and personal goal.

What is the configuration of your computer?
ASUS EeePC a Touch, in Win7, that runs at 1.3 Ghrz therefore not very powerful at all, but enough if my laaaargement Varranger2 plays the external sound module Ketron SD2.
Moreover Varranger2 was designed primarily for SD2. (But also the SD4).

It's not a rocket but that's enough! It's an Asus EEEPC T101MT. For his performance follow Google!

What is your opinion about the value for the price? Interestingly enough, we end up with a complete style arranger SD1 for a ridiculously low price ... In addition, both Varranger2 bed patterns / styles as styles ketron Yamaha until Tyros4 Friends! It's not top that, eh??
