bought one 1990 and i've used it for practicing with a band and playing live (just be sure to hook another cab to it) i had a 4x12 and a 4x10 hooked to this when playing live and it was plenty loud. the chrous depth was set to 10 and the rate to zero and an eq in the efx loop and it sounded fat. very recomend. the only problem was that after 8/9 months (through normal wear and tear) the chrous burnt out and i blew a speaker. even used it for bass and it was just as good (this is 37 yrs ago) but after all this time there have been better amps being borned out there and i would look round a bit more.
