- 30W transistor amp
- An outlet to play with MP3 music
- One headphone
- 3-band EQ
- An effects loop with reverb, chorus, delay, phaser and flanger
- 4 channels: Clean, Crunch, 2 Overdrives (see below)
For the rest, visit the official website of Marshall!
UTILIZATION
The configuration is simple, if there are problems, the manual is clear.
To get the sound you want, turn the knobs and listen!
SOUNDS
I play mostly Jazz / Blues / Rock / Hard Rock to Heavy Metal!
For my part, I use an Epiphone Les Paul Standard 2009 and a semi-hollow Ibanez Artcore AS73 BS-mounted SD (SH1/SH4 without caps) with a Zoom G2.1Nu (multi-effects).
This amp is capable of covering a powerful drummer but you can play with in his room without disturbing the neighbors, the cat's grandmother and the constabulary especially since it is the headphone output.
In clean, the amp sounds without having the sound kicks ass! Me who loves the sounds Clais hot, it's not the party but we do with (that's where the zoom is good). Fortunately there is a reverb to flesh out the sound a bit.
In crunch, it feels like its British! Having fun to play riffs of old sixties and seventies like "You Really Got Me" The Kinks, "Jumping Jack Flash" Rolling Stones and more! The sound is really good with the dynamic property to the blues and rock moderate!
For the overdrive, there are 2 channels: a "versatile" and more "nag". J'm'explique: The "multipurpose" This is less volume and gain! Not really useful if there is no switch, but there is a good sound by tinkering with the buttons (for both channels of overdrive)! We can play the Guns N 'Roses, Led Zepp's solo' or even a lot of bands in this vein! on the other hand for metal, pedal forces!
I put 7 for the clean channel bof!
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for over a year now!
This is my second amp, I started playing guitar about 2 years ago and have since made good progress, both in terms of technique and taste: I really want to change any lamp or a combo All tube Marshall stack style Class 5 or Blackheart BH15!
This amp is when starts to unravel. Now I want to change, move on, to have a real sound that sends a REAL wood and clean!
The quality / price is still interesting: I therefore advise all those who want a typed his Marshall (especially in "distortion") for not too expensive!
Pros:
- Value for money
- Sons and reverb saturated
- Simple and intuitive
- Releases Casque/MP3
- Size small
Cons:
- Cleans little present
- Effects that are not super low and
- No footswitch supplied
With experience, I do not do it again this election, but this amp will serve me forever, at least spare amp because it is still not bad at all for the price.
