Published on 09/01/04 at 15:00I bought this amp about two years ago where I was stationed. I paid about 350 dollars.
The clean channel a chorus are nice, as well as the reverb.
PIECE OF SHIT!!!! When I bought this thing, I thought "Now I have an amp to last forever, because it's a Marshall!!!" WRONG! Three days after I bought it, the fan went out, after getting it repaired, it went out again! Also, the distortion is awful! Not nearly as clean as a tube amp, nor does it have the tone.
Other then the fan, nothing really. It's a solid amp, just shitty wiring and design.
This is a good beginner amp, though u should be for-warned about the FAN PROBLEM. Oh, by the way, the last time the fan went out, I just said to hell with it, and it fried the circuts. Oh well, all is well that ends well. I now own a real amp. "TUBE"
