Stagg 10 GA

Hello everybody,

I bought this for my amplifier and repeated to wander around a bit.
I just received and, come all, to check the sound ....
Very simple to use, adjustable gain, OD button, Volume control and 3-band equalizer.
I have a VOX AD15 (excellent) and a Peavey StudioPro 112 (for "noise").
The problem is that the two amps are not quite portable with ease, I bought a small 10W for a walk with me at a party with friends; the result? To toss into the trash! !

Tests made with a Jackson DX10 with Seymour Duncan TB5 (B) and SH1 (N)
and with an Epiphone Les Paul 100 with Seymour Duncan TB14 (B) and SH1 (N)
Qualities:

easely transportable
rifiniture
reduced weight
headphone
CD/MP3 input

Default:

Absence of reverb (not necessary but handy sometimes)
The equalizer may be reacting badly, bass and treeble ok but not the medium.
This is not a true 10 watts (amps Chinese power even offer a significant power + sound)
the distortion is horrible (but we sometimes get a listenable sound by playing with gain)
In clean .. bof is amp cheap and low quality, safe and some you do not have the same sound as a Fender or a Vox AC30 .... say that we understand that you are currently play a guitar ....
price: it is not expensive (around forty euros) but for what it offers dear!

For DIYers:

11-0-11 Volts supply, to convert it into ultra laptop battery, it requires two 12V batteries
Replacing the diodes 1N4148 dimension "knob gain" with an LED (or two for big distos)
CI final TDA2030 provides 8Watts to 8 Ohms for more sin you can replace it with a TDA2040 (same pinout but powerful +) ..; careful not burn out the HP diet, burst on batteries ...
Try another HP more powerful, it'll help ....
Sure that it is buying for the intelligent tinkering is not .... but if it has already bought .....

TIP:
Avoid buying amps at random, looking for a good amp versatile and not overly expensive?? VOX AD15!
If your budget is really limited, try and go see the amp in a marching musical instrument, you made the choice and you buy cheaper elsewhere if you want ...

Valuta Summary:

to avoid like the plague! spend more money for an amp for a beginner a good amp also gives you more motivation, no need to buy 3 amps economic, buy directly a new one or a good opportunity!
it's going to train it not hurt and does not take much space .... but .... we are ashamed when we repeat!
I chose this for the template and to avoid the "move" my big Peavey VOX or whenever you're having fun with the boyfriend but I really made a bad purchase.
