Both Fishman Platinum Pro EQ and Platinum Stage are universal and designed for use with acoustic instruments, such as guitars and basses. A switch allows for choosing a specific setup with low-end instruments.
This new series received a 17V Class A discrete preamp, a 4 or 5 band-EQ (depends on the model) with parametric mids, a phase switch, a band-cut filter and a DI on XLR connection.
The Platinum Pro EQ has a stompbox format for easy access to the tuner and a volume boost, while the more compact Platinum Stage is a beltpack model.
Both preamps can be powered with a 9V battery or an external adapter, and the Platinum Stage can also receive a 48V phantom power.
