[Musikmesse] Orange Amps launches a pedal
Musikmesse 2015 sees the return of pedals in the Orange Amps catalog, with the new Bax Bangeetar preamp and direct recording model.
The Orange Amps Bax Bangeetar is a guitar preamp pedal with which you can directly record the sound of your instrument through direct or speaker-emulated outputs.
The different controls on the pedal allows for getting the classic Orange tones, from crunch to overdrive at moderate gain settings and up to aggressive distortion if you push the drive. A +5 dB clean boost is also available for you solo parts.
The Bax Bangeetar features an EQ with parametric mids, Q, center frequency and cut/boost controls and Orange included two inputs, one of which features an emulation of the 40th Anniversary PPC412 with 4 Celestion G12H 30 12” speakers.
The pedal includes a true bypass, an Orange-designed buffered bypass, and an internal charge pump doubles the voltage so that you can get an 18V operation from a 9V battery or 9-12 V adapter.
Dimensions: 198 x 92 x 128 mm
Weight: 1.6 kg
The Bax Bangeetar is available in black or white finishes. You can listen to demos at www.orangeamps.com.
