The Joemeek meQ is a 4-band EQ with sweepable frequencies and independent level controls (15dB of boost/cut). The low and high bands feature a switch for shelf/bell curve and the two medium bands include a Hi-Q button to change the bell curve from wide to narrow.
The preQ is a mono-channel preamp equipped with a front panel instrument input. You’ll find on the module a gain knob, 48V phantom power, –25dB pad on the mic input, a phase switch as well as a De-Esser with a switch to focus the processing on the high-end, and a high-pass filter with adjustable frequency.
Last, the meC is a compressor with threshold, ratio, attack, release and makeup gain knobs. A Fast button will change the behavior of the attack and you can link two meC for a full stereo operation with one slave and a master (Slave button) and avoiding image issue via the Link button. A front panel VU-meter allows for monitoring the gain reduction.
