Alternat Runner

This is a hybrid amp pr (transistor / lamp). The conection me parat complte:
- Line / xlr
- Output of 6.35 and symtriques xlr
Size is also hybrid! I think it is a little larger than a half rack.
UTILIZATION
Trs simple. One branch, turn and go! The beast is also quip a high cut filter, food fantme and a phase inverter.
I have not opened the manual, but silent in the bote well
SOUND QUALITY
It seems clear trs. I test with a dynamic microphone (a Shure 12A which is a real crap ...) and with a guitar. No worries, Fidler CHARACTERISTICS instruments are returned (my microphone is always a crap!).
At the lamp, for the determination potentiomtre its action against the transistor section. But beware the saturation induced by the lamp ... whatever plugging a guitar directly plutt rendering is nice!
I also tried it with two synths (Yamaha AN1-X and Roland SH201) and is really your exact INTERESTED. As transparent, the sound is still boost especially with the use of the lamp. This time, I sent the sauce with the lamp and its n'tait not saturated with friends as inflated a bit of extra heat, a small organic ct in sound that r Submitted vle much more ...
In the end, that little pre amp is really a nice surprise!
OVERALL OPINION
I reu today (thank you Playback!) And have test for about 1 hour.
Assets:
- Transparency
- Simplicitbr /> - apparent robustness
Cons:
- No switch!
- The power transformer that takes up space on a multi block shots (one cord coming out of the power supply would power saw t ...)
- Non standard size (half rack or a little more)
This is my first pre amp. I bought it to boost my microphone anmique (j'espre change that soon). So I have no exprience on the subject ...
D'APRS I could hear up Submitted, the report seems qualitprix good (Playback at 119).
Since this is my first pre amp, so I guess I do it again this choice. Let's say I bought especially for the price and because the reviews on AF plutt are good overall.
