greetings too all

this is my first problematic post, google brought me here, so i'm glad to have made aquaintence.

-------------------------------------------

i'm unable to figure out how to connect somethings together.

EMU 1212M-2 ins, 2 outs

Xenyx 802-https://www.dv247.com/invt/31557/

Joe Meek Mic Preamp/Compressor-http://www.joemeek.com/threeq.html

-------------

I would like to use the mixer as the central control station+ still being able to adjust the volume on my patchmix emu mixer while using my Joe meek as a hardware effect unit when i want to compress pre recorded material having it sent back into the emu+ also being able to record vocals. I cant get this fx send thing right,i 've tried a bunch of configurations but i cant get the joe meek to affect the signal thats being sent from the mixer.. i'm tryna to avoid unhooking and rehooking cables all the time so if i can acomplish this, it will help me a great deal. I just kept getting nasty feedback loops.

so the starting point is

EMU-1212m- L+R outs>>> into Xenyx 802 3/4 Ins>>>> xeny 802 control room outs *L+R*into amplifer for passive moniters..

remember i want to be able to record vocals as well, so wouldi need to have one of the joe meeks outs going into a mono input? would it be a better idea for me to connect the XLR for my mici nto the xenyx 802 instead of the Joe meek? whats the easiest way to get this done without any feedback loops?

thanks
