I've been trying to get this computer recording down, and after much time and money spent, it's just one problem after another. In any case, here's the lastest. Thanks for all help.
When jamming along to a track: random mp3 = track 1, guitar -> amp -> mic = track 2, and recording, during the playback of the recording, everything will be fine and dandy, and then at an inevitable point, my guitar actually comes out AHEAD of the song and stays there. I think I know what latency is, and I don't think this is the problem. Wouldn't it be behind the beat if it was? Anyway, it's Tascam USB-428 into Cool Edit Pro. Anyone have this problem before? Is it the board or the software?
