Topic Help on recording/editing to studio quality
I have current recorded my brothers band, Public Fall, and have noticed that I can't get the quality I want. I recorded the bass straight into the PA system, and used one mic on the guitar, and 2 on the drums (one from above him, and one in the bass drum). I used Adobe Audition 1.0 (a.k.a Cool Edit Pro) to record, and haven't quite hit the quality i'd like to match. Is there any tutorials that are out there that will help me to make the quality better? E-mail me if you'd like to hear a sample of the music we've done, so you can understand where i'm coming from.

What type of sound card are you using on the PC? Just the regular sound card? Or some type of sound card made for recording?

I'm using a SoundBlaster Live card, though I'll try the Audigy 2... What sound card would you recomend for recording? (the PA System hooks from a 2to1 RCA Cable to Stereo/Headphone... and though the line in port on my computer.
