wondering if anyone has one of these, ive got a few questions, if anyone know anything about it

when i record via optical input, it records PERFECT SOUND!!! just perfect...but when i listen to the recording while im making it, it get weird noise in the right channel of my headphones, i know its not the phones, i only get this when monitoring the recording while im making it, and the sound is not there when i listen back to the recorded file....WEIRD!

also does anyone know if its possible to record more than 3 minutes at a time as a wav file?
