[NAMM] Fender 2014 Proto Stratocaster

Besides the 2014 Precision Bass from the Proto Series we told you about a couple of days ago, Fender has launched a new Stratocaster guitar from the same series. Its specs are:

• Ash body with cutaway heel
• Early '60s Oval C-shaped birdseye maple neck
• 25.5" (648 mm) scale length
• Round-laminated rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid dot inlays
• Nut Width: 1.6875" (42.86 mm)
• Super 55 Split-Coil Strat (bridge) and Texas Special Single-Coil Strat (middle and neck) pickups
• Master Volume and Master Tone controls, plus 5-way toggle switch
• 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo bridge with block saddles
• Hardware in nickel/chrome finish
• Sperzel locking tuning machines
• 3-ply parchment pickguard
• Available in in Arctic White, Black and Faded Three-color Sunburst finishes
• Includes case, cable, strap, CruzTools Tool Kit and Certificate of Authenticity
