    Wow and I mean it!!

Fender American Vintage 1957 Commemorative StratocasterPublished on 12/07/11 at 16:34
I have to say I'm absolutely love the color of this guitar. Everything about this guitar just screams to me. This is the kind of guitar that is just full of tone and soul and prowess. It's a simple set up in a simple design that has been revolutionized by thousands of artists and guitar players for generations. This guitar has such a feel and talent for reaching across many musical genres and performing it with ease. The gold hardware I have never been a fan of but on this guitar it just looks amazing. The bridge cover is also a nice addition to this instrument as well.

    SOUNDS

The Fender Stratocaster is a great guitar to play pretty much any style of music. They don't really excel and drop too much or alternate tunings as much but they really give you a great balance and feel that makes just sing well with any amplifier, pedal board, or any other modulation that you might use in your guitar rig. These guitars really highlight your dynamic playing and feel. Whatever you give this guitar it's really going to return it with great tone and warm. Oevrall this gui

    OVERALL OPINION

Strats you can find pretty much anywhere fine and in most guitar retailers. However, this particular one might be a little tough to find. I have seen them around but only online retailers. The neck is nice and thick like the old Strats from the 50's, Overall they're pretty flawless from guitar to guitar and they have just a great character and field for tone. I recommend Strat guitars to any guitarist out there because their great for recording and for digging. However, I would only recommend this guitar to someone who has an extra $4000 to spend on a collector's guitar.

    Huge mojo

Fender American Vintage 1957 Commemorative StratocasterPublished on 10/10/11 at 12:58
Fender has been working on trying to bring back that old school Strat aspect for the players who miss the vintage feel and tone. This guitar is basically trying to replicate that old school '57 mojo. It has an alder body with a maple neck, a maple fretboard with 21 frets, black dot inlays, vintage six screw tremolo system, SSS configuration, standard neck joint, one volume, two tones and a three or five way switch.

    UTILIZATION

The neck on this guitar felt pretty awesome. It's a big neck compared to most modern Fenders out there, but I enjoyed it. The frets on this were nice, too. They were properly crowned, and there were no edges sticking out that could potentially cut your h…

    UTILIZATION

The neck on this guitar felt pretty awesome. It's a big neck compared to most modern Fenders out there, but I enjoyed it. The frets on this were nice, too. They were properly crowned, and there were no edges sticking out that could potentially cut your hand while moving up and down. The neck joint was nice and tight on this model, and that was a welcomed addition with so many Fenders out there with slightly sloppy neck joints. The radius wasn't my favorite thing in the world, but I usually always hate the Fender radius because it's too round.

    SOUNDS

This guitar had the five way switch already installed in it. The pickups themselves are very much a classic type of sound. They had this really cool woody kind of sound going on that was real apparent when you started adding just a touch of gain. I wouldn't use these for metal or even hard rock because they're pretty low output, but it all depends on what kind of setup you like. They definitely can't do metal, though. The cleans on these were glorious, and the overdriven tones were to die for. Think of that classic SRV kind of tone at times. The five way switch is a huge upgrade, too. The in between positions are amazing for funk and cleans.

    OVERALL OPINION

The guitar just oozes with mojo. However, be absolutely sure that you like the radius. That was a pretty big deal breaker for me, but considering how great the guitar sounded, I couldn't rate it down too low. Also, the guitar isn't quite as versatile as other guitars in the Fender lineup.

Access to acute is done without difficulty, even if we miss a hoop.
The ergonomics of the whole is perfect and yet this model has over 50 years.
His weight is right, neither too heavy nor too light: it can play for hours without asking any questions of back problems or shoulder dislocation.
The "old mechanical", like the mechanical oil bath mounted on the newer models are great, are very good agreement.

    SOUNDS

This model is perfect for my styles of music: blues, jazz-rock, funk combined with a Vox (AD60VT) or Classic 30's top.
Mics "Singel Coils" made with the same specifications as the Model 1957 offers a range of sounds very "pure" and very nice lens in crunch just by using the 3-position selector. I will mount the switch 5 positions for two additional sounds.
As against this model comes with a metal cover type "Ash tray" icon that is a bit annoying, I find it useless so I have not mounted.

    OVERALL OPINION

I use it since late May and I can not do without it, I finally found the sound.
His aesthetic is also interesting, the gold finish is definitely not flashy but very "class" and the lacquer finish that gives it a very refined style.
Actually there is nothing negative to say about this model.
For just under € 2,000 and given the happiness that gives this guitar I find it can be a bit expensive but it's a collector's model made with sobriety!
    Fender thank you!

The varnish is that it is super soft on the body or the handle is very nice.

What is also surprising is the weight of the guitar extremely light.

    SOUNDS

This guitar has the sound typical of the strata as we like. It's amazing and it's a great pleasure immediately. Sound to the Dire Straits / Pink Floyd / Eric Johnson.
She is beautiful in its clear and crunch. It suitable for blues / country / rock / rock style current English. It is not great with the big distos, so for hard rock and metal, it's really not like that (but who will buy this guitar for that type of music?).

A twin with a TS9 is huge. Even the marshals oriented rock (TSL) makes it really good.

I have 3 other Stratocasters, and by making friends listen to music lovers, but who know nothing about guitar, they heard the direct difference. It sounds of thunder.

Last but not the least importance, the pickups are surprisingly quiet.

    OVERALL OPINION

I love this guitar is probably the best Start I ever played in this price range (with the signature eric johnson). If you seek his typical stratocaster is this guitar for you (or Johnson).
The quality / price is not bad, especially if you buy in Germany. It is still more expensive than 500euros american deluxe, which I think is exaggerated. Plus: this model will be produced in 2007, making it fast a rarity.

Do you like the sound strat you do not play hard or metal? this guitar is probably one of the best choices in the market. To buy without hesitation.
