I payed £599 for my strat in a shop called gamlins after playing it for nearly an hour. being 14, i acquired the money from a relative and had to think hard on which guitar to buy. There were many mexican strats for pretty much the same price but after playing quite a few, i found the USA had the edge.

The neck is one of the best ive played and the frets are perfectly smoothed and easy on the finger. the build quality and feel of the guitar are impeccable. bends on even the lower frets are excellent.

when playing higher up the neck, the strings seem very close together when compared with gibsons and ibanez guitars, very similar to esps. The stock pickups weren't the best ive played but after paying 240 hard earned pounds on a set of EMGs the problem dissolved.(but at a great expense. when it comes to playability, i think my explorer has the edge

excellent construction. i would expect nothing less from a USA made fender. beats my explorer hands down for tone.

what else can i say? always think hard before buying a guitar and play it until u can decide whether or not it is for you.
i prefer fender, but you may not.

Summary: Great feel, good sound
much better than the Affinity Stratocaster,Rarely needs tuning
I've been playing for four months i chose this over an Squier Strat and an Epiphone LES Paul , the les paul had a better sound but was very uncomfortable,this guitar has a great sound is very durable ,and good sound, and with the new jeff beck jr. pickups it is possible to now add a humbucker for those of you who need one

cheesey looks the white pick gaurd on black color does not look good, many of the other colors look gay too ,lower e-string broke within week of purchase

over all quality is good the cable hook up was a bit loose had to tighten it

great beginner guitar
if your serious about learning Guitar
spend the extra money on a Fender Strat
or fat strat or Epiphone Les Paul if you like the style
this model will cause you less grief over the Squier

RAS that is a classic strat-shaped home mr Fender Stratocaster (Leo, for short) - mine is the 1984 blue, deep green ca dpend time.

UTILIZATION

Guitar lgre and comfortable enough (thank you chamfers) the handle is super enjoyable Saddle between the 3rd and 7th box. The sounds are classic, but more for a Start, but that is not so bad dj, I 've tried most Chres that did not sound like the old and the oldest, which sounded more expensive but better, but unplayable (Based on the agreement, buzz, barely)

SOUNDS

I play a little bit of everything (Rock-Jazz-Funk-Electro-Blues) and nothing (I know how the whale, the pot, the coyote, the Titanic, the galinette perch, bear Spanish) n essence of MESA BOOGIE (Roadking currently).
J'obtient sound ... "Start" with this guitar, proving that I am not mistaken purchase. I play mostly clear with the first Micro (bass) ... Everything else am using nothing - see above, I must say dj track a little.

OVERALL OPINION

I played with for 21 years, ah! ah! ca calms you young! A love story in short.
Love at first sight, the honeymoon, true love and then ... accidents of life, the desire to look elsewhere, the midlife crisis. Go to the closet zou Simone (mine is called simone, like other blaky, as my wife Katy)
So I do not like the micro needle (which scares the girls) and trmolo (which attracts their motherboards yuck) of the Tone knobs (always the bottom, but you care less the sound of the died when the boy of 3 years has tchipot behind your back), the fender bolts to rust after 10 years, the price fender and everything that surrounds the brand snobbery FENDER. I join the opinion of BBHACK, that is very dear to the guitar industry.
Let's be positive, I like the bass (dj you have said) and the handle enjoyable in Rabl (Raport no key) and especially the improvement of the guitar with age ... ca is not to say, an old always sound better (that is not like the women I go out .. ok)

If c 'silent again I do it again without hsiter this choice, that is not like my wife ... Ow! Ow! Ok I Aieeeeuuu fate, but expensive!

well as heavy strata of the 70's .. in fact, if I understand the literature of fenderologues, strata of the beginning of 80 are the same as those of the plant DCEN prc dente ..

UTILIZATION

Sound: I was afraid for EMG ... for me, synonymous with big sound that spot ...
m'apprtais change right away and ... well no ...
range microwave ... very acute balance less garish than a strat-edged classic ... without being too aggressive ..
micro serious: a marvel
positions intermediates: I who am not a fan .. and very well, sounds that come out are usable for once (for me, of course .. some love, I know)

The clean sounds are very beautiful
Soiled, they are impeccable too ...
the guitar shows its limits under high saturation .. but I do not care ...
Been a long time, I'm more Death-Thrash riffs ..
For noise rock, the distos are properly ..
So glad this case ...

For the price of a secondhand mex ', I have a U.S. almost 30 years of age ... so too bad for the flight home and microphones for home .. violin making, beauty of the wood (and I finally got EMG), AC was worth it to throw me over, and go pretend to try an amp in a music store in Manhattan to test it .. .

UTILIZATION

Handle very accessible.
I plug it directly into a Marshall JCM 2000 and it sounds like I like to overdrive. For clear I plug directly into a fender bassman and idem, it sounds!



SOUNDS

The sound is typical Fender sound of the 80s, lens and snapping, bass and treble well defined. The mids are present just enough.

3 different microphones enable a varied pallet of color, and thus cover many musical styles.



OVERALL OPINION

I tried many strato before buying it.
This is the handle and the sound of this one that I immediately decided to buy it.

I especially like the microphone serious, then plugged into an overdrive in the marshall is fabulous!

For the price / quality ratio I have searched a little on my area and used it sells for between 1150 € and 1250 €, I bought a little more expensive at the time, but I think that is a price quite justified in terms of quality and sound. Plus mine is really like new, without a shot, scratches and all original.

Well, I hope this review will tell you a little about this model.
