Standard Stratocaster sunburst made in United States in 1991. Settings Vol / Tone / Tone + TBX.

The origins of microphones have been replaced by Van Zandt Blues. I also added a Bartolini preamp and mechanical blocks Schaller.

If you must bring a note of these features I can only put 10 being a fan of the configuration 3 microphones, possible settings, vibrato, the handle, etc ... Start the 'what.

UTILIZATION

The handle is extremely comfortable. Obviously all the difference, in my opinion, between a custom shop or a reissue, is the handle. One can certainly find it more comfortable but the fender standard US offers nice balance between playability and character of the handle ... Basically you have to "send", play with the nuances, attack ... A guitar and a handle to tame, but a wide variety of sounds appointment.

Weight level mine is particularly light, it still has 15 years, but in general the strata 'alder have a very reasonable weight.

I put 8 because of mechanical junk that they were at the time.

SOUNDS

Sound Start 'is the versatility to meet you. The single coils deliver clear and saturated sounds wonderful little we know dose effects and adjust the amp. Then the original pickups are a scandal to me. The pickups fender, it's really not that great, except for some Lace Sensor and rigor of the Texas Special ... Do not hesitate to go to Di Marzio, Seymour Duncan, Van Zandt, Kinman ... It depends on taste and color.

I use most often on Mesa Boogie, Peavy Classic 30 and Fender Hot Rod or Twin. Always a treat.

Belle versatility but blame fender pickups and rotting during the 90's.

OVERALL OPINION

Stratum 'standard US violin offers quality, beautiful acoustic and aesthetic qualities. I know Fender has since installed additional microphones and mechanical on the standard and at the same time increased its prices significantly ... After testing I am not convinced by the microphones ... The value for money is impeccable, even excellent. Even if it is added 200/300 euros to get the sound, this guitar through time, is very versatile and is mostly very solid and well finished. And the bonus is that it sounds better and better with time ... An excellent investment over the long term.

9 because of those pesky microphones fender ... (They've got the recipe lost after the 70's or what?)
