Bitozar « Good for a beginner guitar »
Published on 12/22/10 at 07:52Guitar with a humbucker in the bridge pickup and two singles in the middle and neck. The rest is very standard: volume, tone, selector pickups with 5 positions.
There is a vibrato ... unfortunately ...
UTILIZATION
The handle is really nice for a guitar of this price. The rest of the guitar is very simple config and microphones offer a wide range of sounds.
However, there is a big black spot on this guitar. To be verified in two other stores, all 3 had the exact same problem with the original settings, the guitar is wrong. And not a little. Almost a half-tone when you go hit the 12th fret! Same thing on the other two guitars. Shame!
So of course it will rule. It's also not too difficult when you have a little bottle. A few turns and it rolls. But why is it not settled home? Shame! A beginner does not know it will not play fair.
So I set it all and the guitar is just now. For the bass E string, the screw vibrato is almost in abutment with the spring bottom.
And the tremolo is floating ... floating. Better not use it to tune the guitar did not. Better still, make it fixed.
If the setting was well done in the factory, I put 7 / 10. There, I put 1 / 10.
SOUNDS
Once properly adjusted, this guitar to 200 € sounds really good. All types of music can be discussed. The simplest are blown, the double is powerful enough to make distos nice if they have the stuff behind. I see many who say they do not know with metal. They should be the amp or pedal that allows to do ...
OVERALL OPINION
If the factory settings were not so badly done, I put a high note this guitar very versatile and easy to play. Unfortunately, I could not advise a beginner not knowing the address. I had to do for my son.
As it stands after amendment, it is really very good and it will grow. I therefore find this guitar on this point, not the one I originally received. If we compare this guitar to what we could find 20 years ago in this price range, this instrument is wonderful for beginners. Today is a guitar properly (after adjusting ...) amongst many others.
