I just read your comment and I am obviously very happy and very proud of the very positive comments that you write in this little report Rockline A Light, made in Bdarieux, the ann Super 90's guitar actually, especially if it will upgrade and customize the level of microphones!

I want despite all make some reflections and prcisions on the title of this short report: "the era or Lag was still good guitars."

I booted this wonderful adventure in 1978 with a workshop repairs and customizations Toulouse, with a single passion: to make good guitars for guitarists very DIFFERENT, requirements and varied needs s unique whole program!
This philosophy has always guided latelier Lg, from the first original models in 1981, Toulouse and Bdarieux from 1993, and even now in the same fawn in our own factories in Asia.

Our guitars sries 66, 100 and 200 will first be conues, and designated dveloppes in France before DTRE factories in our own production units in Asia. Our quality concern is of course always the same, offer the best guitar for the best price !!! But parat obvious that lon can not have the same performance between a guitar and a 2000 300 guitar! Compare this with cars or cameras, each range, a price, a rsultat and use!

Guitar factory in France, the workshop in Toulouse in 1995. The body is basswood I think, be without trssr. Mine has a glossy black finish of the most beautiful effect, except when there are my fingerprints! UTILIZATION

The handle is excellent even if you feel it might be even better with a more polished smooth. 24 cases fully accessible thanks a heel trs profile. No problem the above. Obviously, use with an amp worthy of the name. Try to have my guitar on a Mesa Boogie Mark IV, I can tell you that has transcended! The few obscure points disappear and you redcouvrez condition of your guitar plugged into the good stuff.
Only condition your happiness: change the pickups and pay you a good amp! Once done your Rockline Light Heavy sound!

SOUNDS

Playing mainly Metal (Death Metal and more, as one who che), I m'clate trs good on this guitar (my Premire for that matter) remains my main weapon with a Jackson Kelly Pro . As a soloist and with strong technical trends handjob the dizzying, this guitar is a good choice trs, even if I start reaching the limits of the BTE for the sound and precision attack. Again, the choice of microphone and amplifier at the end of the string will have the killer. A guitar will sound crappy crap even on a good amp, this is not the case for this lag, we are reassured!
For my part, I use excessive EMG 89 (equivalent of EMG 85 When this return is not Splitt), the sound is ultra powerful, sharp and with good slam rglages amp, low you pull out the guts. However, it lacks the precision, the sound slightly drooling whatever rglage.



OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 10 years dj: I took my electric guitar Premire weapons with the Light and frankly Rockline, 4990 francs for the era, I have no regrets so I ' I was able to grow and m'clater with this guitar, which is still the case today. I do not barter this Lag against another in the same price range, never! With the limited means available to me by buying it (I put all my money in the models), I do it again the same choice with his eyes closed while changing any of the microphones of the same 'between ...
Currently j'conomise to offer me his big sister, namely a MODEL Lag Arkane Absolute Custom that I will cry with a Mesa Boogie Rectifier good!

UPDATE July 22, 2009:
The guitar does profondment "reworks": EMG 81 in the bridge position, EMG 89 pass in the neck position, micro central shunt with artificial MODEL (S EMG design but with nothing in it!) change the buttons (like those black plastic Fender are really shit) for MODELS mtalliques chromium (with that of Tone in push / pull power to the splitter 89), revisits electronic, direavec switch is 3 position instead of the 5 positions dsormais unnecessary polishing of frtes lightweight and finally, the must: the replacement of the vibrato for a Lag licensed Floyd Rose Original vritable . Rsultat: we get a box of course worthy of a high-end of any brand of guitar respectable. Unlike what is described a little higher, I'm crying Dornava with a Peavey 6505 +, and that "Nirvanesque!"

Basically, blackheads onrattrape of this guitar (pickups & hardware) to give the top.
For info: 2 EMG pickups (81 + 89) bought used but almost nine = 150 euros, a Floyd Rose Original = 215 euros, two chrome buttons + a robust slecteur = 20 euros 6 mcaniques of quality = 75 euros, a good luthier nice for total = 150 euros.
Total customization = about 610 euros. You can find any Lag Rockline Used 400 euros today, and with it all, you have a scratching Made In France for 1000 euros which customizes well worth an ESP MII, a Jackson Soloist Ibanez or other JS. I also bought some time ago a Lag Rockline Standard (470 euros, nine state!) I have the same customs of Manir (except the vibrato Schaller and original buttons ) with an EMG Kit SL20 Steve Lukather (2x EMG 85 + EMG SL custom). Needless to say that the train that I collect ...

Ultra sound is powerful, treble chatter and with good rglages amp, bass you rip the guts. However, it lacks the precision, the sound somewhat drool whatever rglage.
Peavy chorus plays a 70 for me, adfonce.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 17 years! And I did nothing wrong. I would do the same choice without hesitating. But buying now she coterait CHRE too because it would have to be made in France and a violin maker LG to find the same original product ..
It occurs rarely used. Not be hesitating!
If you find less than 1000 you never know, should take it immediately!
