Schecter 006 Extreme

Shecter guitars are a guitar company that prides itself in the budget friendly guitar instruments but also the playability factor is highly usable. They've really been able to meet a market that needs a good workable recording and gigging instrument that has budget friendly prices. Many of their guitars look pretty funky and the cosmetic design of this is a guitar really goes in line with the other products that this company produces.

SOUNDS


The 006 Deluxe guitar features to humbucker pickups with a volume control knob and a tone control knob. The one thing I hate about this guitar is that it features basswood on the body. I've never like the tone of the basswood because it just doesn't right. Something about it just seems off. If you've ever played a mahogany, alder, or an ash wood guitar in the basswood is going to feel tremendously different. The shape of the guitar is somewhat of a super strat, but the curvature of it is pretty peculiar. The color of this guitar is somewhat at a red and black mixture of the paint. It has a bolt on neck which allows it to be pretty strong. Overall this is a decent guitar for the money but I certainly would buy this guitar primarily because of the basswood feature.

OVERALL OPINION

These guitars have been discontinued for a while now but you can find them somewhere online new for right around $600. You can cut that in half if you find one on the used classifieds section. This is not that great of a guitar in my opinion and I would pretty much bypass it altogether. Schecter does make some good guitars for the money and this is not really one of them. I would suggest going with an Ibanez or another Schecter guitar for the money.

UTILIZATION

Handle very comfortable, low key and very nervous thanks to the jumbo frets.
Access to acute is facilitated through a district of the body to the place where the handle is screwed.
The weight is comfortable and well balanced.

SOUNDS

It is a very versatile guitar, thank you to coil tap,
cleans in sounds, you get acoustic sounds really good and authentic
The pickups deliver a good punch and are very melodic.
Its distortion, the bridge pickup is perfect for aggressive rhythm and lead.
The pickup is fat and round runny but gives a rhythm to lead his reminder that a gibson.
In short a very versatile guitar thanks to tapcoil which allows for 2 guitars, one with humbuckers and single coils with.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had three weeks and I won.
I love its look, its low action and sounds.
The only negative would be the neck pickup is a little too mushy for rhythm distortion.
I tried a Hammer, an OLP John Petrucci, a Stratocaster, a Cort, but nothing is as versatile in terms of sound, and the handle is really an exemplary comfort and facilitates the quick game, and the key is very sensitive, ideal for games legato.
And aesthetics is nickel.
The quality / price is top (paid $ 600 Cdn.)
This choice I would do without hesitation.

UTILIZATION

The handle is great in knowing that this guitar costs about 600 euros.
The inclination of the shaft improves the plating of the strings according bar (very handy for a novice like me)
The access to acute fat is very good in the shape of the guitar.
Good ergonemie.

SOUNDS

The sound is perfect for modern metal, rock, hard etc. ....
The bridge pickup Schecter Alnico humbuckers High Output is in desperate need of acute is why That a Seymour Duncan SH13 Dimbuker going much better now.

Very good finish for the price
The sound very rock (what research to complement my Fender Stratocaster typed too)
I had an Ibanez S670 FM, I have a Fender Stratocaster Deluxe United States ASH and friends that make me play on their guitar with a Epiphone Zakk Wylde EMG 81 and 85 team (that I was up) and the 006 Extreme N has nothing to envy to lEpiphone Zakk Wylde cruellemnet missing color in favor of a great power.

- With experience, you do again this choice? ...
We will see over time but for now she esr perfect for my use (Hard, rock, metal and other music grans ill).
