Apple will launch its new OS X Yosemite for Mac this fall, if you are a Mac and Steinberg user, you may have an issue with installing your software.
Steinberg CEO announced today that an issue with the installer was detected on this new OS X Yosemite (10.10), which affects the install process of all its software. However, all Steinberg software installed prior to upgrading to OS X Yosemite, will run perfectly.
Steinberg is working on a fix and should release an update by Fall. In the meantime, the team developed a utility that allows for installing software on the new OS X. It is available for free download now at www.steinberg.net.
