[MUSIKMESSE] Pioneer introduces HRM-5 & HRM-6

These new models claim to draw on Pioneer’s sound reproduction heritage to bring users an accurate, neutral sound for monitoring their latest creations.

Both models have a newly designed 40 mm driver unit, which aims at accurately reproducing frequencies up to 30 kHz (HRM-5) and 40 kHz (HRM-6), so users can hear every nuance of their tracks, while the bass reflex chamber in the housing is said to provide quality bass response. The models is also said to make for a comfortable fit, even over long studio sessions thanks to a fully adjustable headband, memory foam ear pads, and pivoting housings. Plus, their folding design, detachable cables and carry case make the HRMs compact and portable.

The HRM-6 takes also features an HD driver and two-layer damping structure to deliver enhanced clarity, reduced resonance and fast bass response. The model also feature flat ear pads, supposed to create a snug fit and improved sound insulation.

The HRM-5 and HRM-6 studio monitor headphones will be available starting June 2016, with retail prices of $99.00 and $169.00, respectively. Replacement parts, including ear pads and cables, will also be available.
