I notice a little different from other members on this headset, I bought a few months ago to make recordings. For mixing, it is fine, but I finally sold it because I have found some defects invasive, listed below.

I used four months before I decide to sell it.

Did you try many other models before buying it?

Previously I had a Prodipe Pro 550, nothing in terms of quality, that's for sure.

What feature do you like most?

The sound reproduction is perfect, as neutral as possible, it really is perfect for mixing. In addition, the headset is lightweight and handy.

What feature do you like the least?

For the record, it is clearly not enough insulation (especially since I use mostly a very sensitive microphone capsules: there, you could hear the metronome recording, while the volume of the metronome was reasonable.
In addition, I think that headphone, supposedly adjustable clamp ears too, which is annoying quickly. The wire is too short for my setup, and in my opinion it lacks a joystick with adjustable volume. We see all these "flaws" are not really, but mostly related to my equipment and my habits. Still, I am far from sharing the general enthusiasm, at least on this issue.

How do you rate the quality / price?

Too expensive, that's for sure.

3 years. Use mobile disco.

What is so special that you like most and least?

Sound quality, isolation, light, handy, solid ... and the ability to find parts easily.
No downside for the moment!

Did you try many other models before buying it?

The model of the same brand: HD 200: less insulation and less maneuverable than the HD 25.

How do you rate the quality / price?

Price a bit too high.

Yes, despite its price.

2 weeks, I said that this is the basic edition (version low fat, no accessories and untwisted cable 1.50m ^ ^).!

Did you try many other models before buying it?
Not for the masses DJing, dn hp 500 for 2 years, HDJ 500 and 2000 in the evening and once a Beats by dre (nobody's perfect ^ ^).

What is so special that you like most and least?
This is the best headset I have used to date.

In addition:
- Sound very very good, super clean low leaving all their seats in acute medium.
-He shakes a lot and is perfectly in place, a happy compared to my denon.
All-changeable parts, very well because I will not change until the headphone passed away.
It left atrium before moving back, I was expecting a detail made it's downright practical.

Most:
- Sound insulation.
- The quality of sound.
- His strength.
- Its lightness.
- His design.

Cons:
- Its extremely high power (do not make you deaf!)
- It serve a little head after several hours of use, but nothing too bad I think.

Did you try many other models before buying it?
I had a Pioneer SE-MJ5 before and what is the day and night! Pioneer had to bow to blow my first evening, and the sound quality insulation have anything. We should note that the price difference is a lot.

How do you rate the quality / price?
It is expensive for a "simple" headphone but it makes against that ultimately it was not a simple headset once the one in his possession. The value for money is okay for me.

I Refer this choice without any hesitation!

I use the HD 25 for over 8 years and I bought 25SP this year after selling my HD25 simple.
When I wanted to change, I headed to the Beat, very Hype and design quite nice. I also tried the AKG, Audiotechnica, and Bose headsets offered by other big names. Well, there's no picture: it is the only one to offer accurate sound whatsoever on the bass, midrange and treble. In comparison, a € 500 Beat offers much too low hereof, hollow midrange and treble sometimes screaming.
The only downside to the HD 25 is in my comfort on extended listening. At the same time, I head circumference of 62cm ... Perhaps this explains it!

To conclude, if I had to take a headphone that would surely be this one

I am not an expert in n'suis headset nearby, I wanted to base the model on the advice of a friend who is licensing its technical ... supposedly it was a standard blablabla ... I tried a Bose (models j'm'en remember dsl), which frankly was not bad, but nothing more, a audiotechnica not great either, plus a few others I can not remember absolutely (dsl is True, it's been a few tourists ...)

HD 25 really made me feel good, the sound is excellent (good bass (maybe a bit too much), midrange and treble faithful without being aggressive, good dynamic) ... store with an iphone was not bad, my house was much better! (Output sound card with good. Flac, AC disconnects race!)

not tried to mix, it will come I try to gently computer music

I think I will complete over time (especially for strength), but from what I have tried is the one that really stuck eardrums!

flaw: I'm not Dumbo, but after a while he'm having ears ... is the price to pay for a good sound on the ears!
Note also that it is not well insulated (ok it's not the point) ... dipstick when purchased, I took the train back home ... j'me pose with my playlist, I press play, and I see people who look at me strangely ... removing the headphone ears, I realized ... while the car could hear Andy Timmons rape his ibanez!

- Lightweight
- Maintain the head well
- Powerful Sound!

Very good, much better than the crap of HDJ-1000 I had before.

Clearly yes.
I always wonder why all the DJs (almost) used it, bah once I realized the ears. This balance of powerful sound with slamming bass perfectly. It is very light and is very well head. I squeezed it too often read elsewhere, I can not find, however (perhaps because I have a small head). You can move behind the decks, the headphone is in place. And the top is perhaps that it is indestructible. I still lack experience in this respect there, but a friend has a DJette HD25 for over 10 years and it is always impeccable. A value of course!

-Sound! I find it very balanced, powerful bass and treble that does not whine.
Isolation-phonique.Je do not need to go too high volume for DJing, which is significant for health ... Even after an extended set, no tinnitus.

Yes I tried the headphones that were not worth as much as WESC Bongo is not even comparable, I had an HD-205 but also a WESC Bagpipe me it still impressed by the power of sound and the definition (it was still a little mess!) but I still sell the account to buy an analog mixer. I used some headphones because I needed just to listen, the mix of my primary sound was done without too much trouble with the bagpipe, the final I did great on Genelec monitors but not mine , failing to put his very home, so I opted for a precise and powerful studio headphones, the HD 25-1 II! I'm not disappointed.

- The excellent sound quality / powerful bass and clear mids and highs but powerful crystal.
- No frequency actually increased (low normal) which does not prevent low to be much more powerful and the sound pressure is much higher than other headphones, the headphone is neutral and great for mixing / computer music .
- The <span style="font-weight: normal;"> </span> comfort, the headphone is closed, means much more when it is snug on the ears, it can be painful in the long run, but it's nothing serious, especially since I put the pads and velvet it's really a dream!
- The aesthetics, the headphone throw, it is a bit rough like that but he really look like.
- It is fully removable and customizable same time! no hassle to change a defective part

I got it for 155 € (no it is not the limited edition oddly cheaper) and frankly it's the price that must be put quietly to 200 € I think. Excellent value for money!

Yes probably, this headphone is good at everything, even the sound etc.. I do not think me a coward not need to buy one but if I were to buy a headphone without doubt I would take this one, I strongly recommend it to people who are interested in audiovisual, computer music, and even I think a powerful and enjoyable listening (comfort and isolation from outside noise).</strong></span>

Yes, hd 380, hd 280, sennheiser hd 595 (no comparison), ath m50 (very comfortable, really well done and quite beautiful, its very correct, but not as good as flat spatialization), AKG K240, AKG K271, AKG K701 (I recommend it to anyone who can afford), Grado SR 60/80, Sony 7506 (very dry, surgical, although probably not for work but very enjoyable if not), beyer 770 ... I know it's a mixture of open / closed, "monitoring" / fi but good ^ ^

I did look at this playlist: hendrix - hey joe (live at berkeley) daft punk - short circuit, Bumblefoot - normal, taj mahal & the hula blues band - african herbman, high tone - northern lights, gorillaz - kids with guns , retrigger - Jeanie & Caroline, Jaco Pastorius - i shot the sheriff, Joanna Newsom - bridges and baloons, Dave Pike - Sunny, dr. dre - let me ride, Bill Withers - Who Is He, J-Walk - French Letter of vivaldi (remember the exact title dsl), Wax Tailor - There Is danger and dj krush - song 1.
The files are either flac or by 320.
It is on a global interception that I chose the HD 25. After up to you depending on what you hear. For example, on jazz, the M50, the 770 and the K271 sounds better to my taste.
What thing do you like most/least about it?

The PLUS
The low round, slapping, very realistic without erasing the other frequencies. They impressed upon first listen! (Try it if you kids with guns and "under the influence)
The crystalline highs, absolutely not garish. Mediums present and mild.
The sound in general, there is a sense of clarity, rendering is very nice, no aggression. Moreover, the increase in volume will not interfere with this little gem, the sound remains the same, just louder.
The spatialization, compared to the models mentioned above, I think it's one of the most efficient (or even the most powerful ^ ^)
The isolation, it is really cut off from the outside world. Which is pretty good for a closed headphone you tell me
The appearance and design. Very crude, we like it or not.
Being able to change all the parts and quite easily (it took me just 5 minutes to change pads)

The LESS:
The headphone does not strike me as flat as they say ... So for the monitoring, I think this compromise. on the other hand, a DJ will be happy!
The comfort or lack of comfort ... The pressure on the ears is strong enough, I'll see if it's getting better with time. Spectacle wearer attention (I and after a while it hurts ..)
What is your opinion about the value for the price?

Paid 170 euros, I find it correct.

Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice?

Experience very low at the moment ^ ^ But as I compared to many other headphones of the same price range (between 100 and 200) and that it seemed like the best, I say yes

Conclusion: This headphone is a reference, and it goes very quickly realize why.
