I use it for 2 days.
It is fairly comfortable (not as much as my AKG K240 studio), isolates from outside noise VERY well, it goes down very, very low but then compared to the K240. There is a difference spectrum between these two models. I honestly think that the K240 is more appropriate for a mix. The HD280 for decision on the other hand and find the microphone placement in real time is much better. on the other hand I find balance, not neutral. With a dominant sub serious, but very specific ... So at least no cata ...
With a fully charged in sub zik is fat as hell. But hey, do not mix with .... or so with a great experience. Otherwise, you will have more bass on a hi-fi system or a position ...
It is very sturdy and pliable, very well for mobile use.
Although powerful, too, without drooling low (but suddenly they capture well on palm muting to scratch. I find it flattering actually. AKG K240 back to a studio seems to fade after much used to it ... In fact, I think it is good to control the sub from a serious mix (magnifying).
EDIT: I think the top is a bit Aggressive medium compared to my K240. And it flatters the stereo image so that you end up with a lot of signal in the center, much to the extreme, but in between, it's weird. For cons, I maintain, this headphone is for making drums, and similar applications: its frequency response seems to be designed to hear a "flat and neutral" in noisy conditions (concert, acoustic drums ...). A great product at least not at all fake plastic (made in Ireland hehe)
