comprata dopo aver letto diverse recensioni positive mi ha stupito per la qualità rispetto al prezzo. Molto simile a AKG K242
ottima per home recording, bassi presenti ma non invadenti alti da 5 a 10 khz sono leggermente invadenti ma decisamente bilanciate nel suono
    da provare assolutamente.

    Get the 681 ...

I have the 681 and I thought the B version (for bass) would be cool to compensate a very mids-heavy multieffects without any EQ. Wrong!
They sound rather tight, the mids are cold, the highs screech a bit and the basses, well, it's true that they are more present than on the normal version.
Finally, the lows and mid-lows are much warmer and rounder!

    UNBEATABLE VALUE FOR MONEY

    Hello musician friends,

I just got the HD681B and I'm surprised by the sound quality.
Like the HD681, they are semi-open, 32ohms, 98dB, 10-30000Hz, the difference between them is the frequency response curve.

The low end is a bit rounder, but less emphasized and, as a consequence, the mids have more presence, while the highs are well-balanced. The high-mids are a bit too pronounced, which is the brand's sonic trademark, emphasizing the impression of definition.
In terms of precision/definition, they are quite all right. I've compared them to giants like the Beyer DT880pro, AKG K701, and they are not that far in terms of sound. You really need to know your headphones to tell the diff…

However, they are a bit less precise than the DT880pro across the entire frequency spectrum.

In other words, for 30 bucks you get a well-balanced, well-defined, and not tiring pair of cans, which nevertheless remain dynamic, musical and comfortable. What else could you ask for?
I still have to see how long they last, but they cost 8 times less than the big shots.

    Well done Superlux!

    Hard to beat!

I've had them for a few months.

Yes, okay, my ears hurt sometimes.

What do I like best? Their value for money, look and that they seem relatively solid (I take them with me frequently and they still keep going strong...).

With hindsight: Yes, I would buy them again. That said, I'm thinking about getting a pair of cans that is more...professional, if possible.

But for the time being, I'm okay. They do their job fine and allow me to hear what I do with Reason. And that's enough for me!

[in comparison, my old technics speakers/sansui amp setup is less clear. The sound of the technics is... well... not the best, but I think the tweeter has aged quite a bit... Besides, they were never really top-notch. Anyway, they can eat almost any consumer speakers but breakfast, but still...]

Given their price, they deserve a 10.
