Genelec introduces the new 7040A ultra-compact powered subwoofer for studio monitoring.

The Genelec 7040A subwoofer is designed to complete the 8010, 8020 or M030 powered monitors, among others. It features an original bass reflex design called Laminar Spiral Enclosure (LSE) that, according to the manufacturer, would allow for more accurate low-end reproduction and monitoring.

  • 50W class D power amplifier
  • Frequency response: 30 Hz – 90 Hz (-6 dB)
  • 100dB SPL
  • 0 to 270° phase correction in 90° steps
  • 2 balanced XLR inputs and outputs

  • Weight: 11.3 kg
