Value For Money :
Poor
Used almost purchased new.
You need a good amp to push them, I had a QSC PLX3402 I replaced by a crown XTI6000, for now I only have 2 boxes, I intend to buy 2 and XTI4000 was just too 4 boxes.
The sound is well rounded, well defined, it goes down very low. This is not a box-impact.
The low yield was told it's expensive for what it is, yes compared to DIY mounted B & C or others, on the cost price is higher, but mounted in the HP keeps its promises, the body is light finish is strong, mounting screw base, sets the bar to properly instruct a satellite.
It's the same speaker and the same body that VRX918S except that the VRX has the attachment points.
I would do this choice, I think JBL is in a good range of value for money. See my review on the amp XTI6000 PRX635 and satellites that I use with these boxes.
