Denon DJ has made free firmware updates available for its DN-S3700 and DN-S1200 digital media turntables, designed to upgrade performance with a Hybrid MIDI mode.
The updates – DN-S3700 v.2020, DN-S1200 v.3020 – are available to download from the Denon DJ website at www.denon.dj, from the relevant product pages.
The firmware upgrade, to new and existing units, implements MIDI Hybrid mode, enabling both the DN-S3700 and DN-S1200 to control DJ computer software, like Serato Scratch Live, from the control surface.
A 'Hybrid MIDI Turntablism’ demonstration video featuring JFB with the DN-S3700 is available at www.youtube.com/denondjtv.
