Published on 10/20/12 at 08:27I bought this mic because I was looking for something versatile and slamming to replace the original microphone of my telecaster that I found too soft and without any dynamic.
I have the gold version (not chrome - then it does not change anything except aesthetic level) that I bought about 55 € ia.
You can really play anything. This mic holds up even with pedals metal type metal muff or bloody mary (after this is done, but hey, it's good to take tjrs).
On clean sounds of my mesa, this mic has incredible sound. I had the opportunity to test the Fender custom shop pickups and frankly, I much prefer the Twang King (matter of taste, I am not at all questioning the quality mics fender). + And other small: it is cheaper
