Sonar Producer Edition and Bass POD

hi im a beginner in home studio recording and i would like some advice
i got the sonar 3 producer edition and i got a Line6 POD 2.0 ( hardware )
now while using my sonar i noticed that it has a picture of the said item and even POD BASS awith all the knobs functioning.

i would like to know what is it exactly ? does any one know?
