Im sorry if i may come across as an idiot i am farely new to the business, Is there a way to take the lyrics out of a song and still have the music that is the "background" music? and if so how do i do that?

no..... no way to completely remove vocals from a stereo recording. think of it as trying to take all color greens out of a painting. you may be able to accomplish a little, but its gonna look like shit.
