hi! i've been trying to setup a small computer based home studio and when i came across this forum i knew it was the perfect place to ask for advice....
ok this is my basic idea im about to buy a macbook pro
the main recording program that i would use is logic express 8
i have a pod x3 live so im guessing i've got everything i need to record there...i have guitar and bass amps and i can record vocals through it too
im about to buy a pair of active monitors (dont know which ones are good though....i dont want to spend more than $400)
i was thinking in buying a keyboard midi controller (im kinda lost in that department too)
now the main setup would be connecting the pod's outs to the macbook pro's in and the monitors to the macbook pro's out, the pod's usb too so i can controll it through gearbox and the midi controller through usb too.
i dont know if this would work or if i need anything else.....thanx a lot for reading this and any help would be appreciated
