Greetings,

My name is Jim. I have been playing around with music, guitar mostly, since my Mom bought me an old electric guitar when I was 14 or 15. (1969) My Dad was a church singer, he did some Sunday shows on the radio when I was a kid, so I guess I have some singing in my blood also.

Since my job required me to learn how to use a PC, I guess it was a natural progression for me to get into digital recording, since I have an interest. I am using Cool Edit Pro as my multitrack software on my Pentium 4 PC. I am using a Sound Blaster Live sound card and everything is run through my Behringer mixer. Once I have a dozen of so songs mixed down I move them onto CD to keep my HD unloaded. This is a new experience for me, I am not a top recording engineer nor a musical talent, I just like doing it. I started recording on Analog Cassettes in 2000 and I had so much fun that I moved to my PC because I needed more tracks.

I sent via FTP two samples from my latest recording project to the following address:
http://home.comcast.net/~jsuttie3/
I will leave these there for a few days but will remove them when space becomes an issue for me. Don't expect too much.

Best Regards
Jim
