hello folks at SAH. Im looking to restructure my home studio from stand alone HDR to a mac based setup. I'd also like to figure out how to make the tracks I record portable to send to friends in boston and washington D.C. for collaborative projects. I'd be interested in cross platform compatibility otheres have had sucess with (ie computer based <-> stand alone or PC <-> MAC).

Looking forward to sharing info. Any votes against the MOTU MKII firewire?
