Hello,
Boyfriend and kids have decided they want a home recording studio. Kids already had a yamaha Midi comp keyboard and Electric guitar with Behringer V-amp. Boyfriend has Roland Td-7 V Drum kit. Have just bought a Behringer Mx1804A mixer and am looking to buy a NAD 3020 amp and Alesis passives. All to be hooked up to PC (1.8Ghz processor 512 ram). I need a decent soundcard but not too decent, money is an object, any suggestions? I have access to Acid V5.?. The kids know nothing about how to set it all up and the boyfriend's a drummer! ( Need I say more?).
I've been given the job of sorting it all out... HELP!....
What configures to what and how and would I be better making my own cables? Can anyone point me in the right direction ... I've tried finding this info out but I'm struggling.
