Fender launches the FSR American Rustic Ash Series

Fender unveiled today the new FSR American Rustic Ash series, which features a Stratocaster and a Telecaster.

With the American Rustic Ash Series, Fender gives their two 6-string stars a new raw look, thanks to a Faded satin finish that accentuates the wood grain and veins, and a brown anodized aluminum pickguard which is a first at Fender.

The American Rustic Ash features one Stratocaster and one Telecaster, both with an ash body.

The Strat is available in Olympic White finish with maple neck and rosewood fingerboard and Surf Green with maple neck only. Both models have 22 medium jumbo frets, 9.5" radius and white or black Dot inlays. Nut width is 1.685" and the scale length is 25.5".

The guitar is equipped with three Texas Special Single-Coil Strat pickups, a master volume and two tone knobs, and a 5-way pickup switch. Pickup covers and control knobs have a cream color. You’ll also find the traditional bent steel saddle bridge with tremolo.

The other model of the FSR American Rustic Ash Series is the solid body Telecaster guitar, available in Butterscotch Blonde finish with maple neck and black dots, and Sonic Blue finish with maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and white dots. Both models feature 22 medium jumbo frets, 1.685" nut width and 25.5" scale length.

The pickups used on this guitare are two Texas Single-Coil Tele models, with a 3-way blade switch, a master volume and a Delta Tone (No-Load) control. Fender used an American Standard-style 6 bent steel saddle bridge and brass plate and string-through body configuration, with chrome hardware.

US MSRP is $1799.99 for each guitar. Discover the Fender FSR American Rustic Ash at www.fender.com.
