SUPERB Telecaster
Published on 10/12/14 at 07:31 (This content has been automatically translated from French)It's a Telecaster in its pure juice, but with some "small" nice details.
UTILIZATION
Perfect.
A magic stick, not too big (like my previous Custom Shop that cost more than double ...), nor too thin. Perfect.
SOUNDS
Here is the top. I will not go into details, but this guitar has reconciled me with the Telecaster.
A gem.
I did a little review video, listen to see this:

I wanted a Telecaster for months. I like this model and my reference on the subject is a Roy Buchanan.

I tested Fender almost all models, Mexican first prize to reissue and even some Custom Shop. I wanted a maple neck and single coil to complete my Stato. After trying the 62 reissue and custom shop I found all models below rather bland (Mexican, standards, classical, ...). But I found the price quality ratio too high (between 1650 and 2500 Euros) for a Telecaster. I tried a few times but I have not found anything convincing.
I went by chance at MDS - Audio store in Coulsdon music in Seine et Marne. I saw this copy of the TV Maybach brand I did not know. The manager of the store called me and I tried very captivated by the instrument. I found what I loved about the high-end fender models but with a twist. The handle is round like the 62 but more comfortable to hold. It is always a log (it is on a TV) but you can have a faster game. Amber microphones are remarkable details. It has the classic sounds of the TV but with a bit less aggressive in acute which is appreciable. This guitar is light thanks to Sugar Pine but the sustain is present. It seems that the German luthiers who are behind this brand carefully choose the woods.
For acastillage is very good and at the same time classic. The value for money seems excellent. It is for me over the Fender with a close price of standard models. Resale of this model will surely be more difficult than Fender model though.
This brand is hard to find in France but we see in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany of course. I would put some sound samples soon and I speak of the character Relics.See less211
