I bought it at Music Mac Hawaii for $399.

Solid construction, good materials, excellent sound and versatility.

Honestly? Nothing. I mean you might get a half second more sustain from a set neck, but I put a lot of thought into what I was buying.

I grew up during a time when anything with the Samick name on it was suspect. They were only making cheap replicas out of cheaper materials, and those replicas always had inferior sound to the originals (which they were contracted to make). The Greg Bennett signatures are a different breed however. Samick is no longer a beginner's guitar. It has a bound alder body with aquilted maple top, a maple neck and fingerboard, a transparent red finish, Duncan designed HSS pickups, a string-through bridge, and Grover tuners. This is a well-made, versatile instrument that I would put aganst my vintage '61 SG.

It's the dawn of a new era for Samick. Bennett has brought them into the twenty-first century as a contender. This is not grandpa's Samick. It is a real guitar that the working man can afford.

UTILIZATION

Channel trs enjoyable, agus Access in simple (what a tl), weight plutt lev but rpart. As for sound, it's too good! We go from microphones in each microphone as the c. ... The clear sound is perfect with the lipsticks and if you pass on the double you get a good distortion.

SOUNDS

I have no particular style and this just scratches is perfect for a. We keep all of the same characters in a T with her slamming the clear round on the humbucker for a good distortion, nickel what!

OVERALL OPINION

I jou on a lot of guitars (Fender Start US and Mexico, Jaguar, piphone SG) and none of these have as many characters dernires and its that little Samick. FYI, here's a link to user reviews that also won me http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Guitar/product/Samick/FA2/10/1. The report price is unbeatable quality: 300 new. In its class is by far the best and eyeing even more high-end and the worst is that it is aisment comparison. If you see one, Do not hesitate, go for it!

Before inserting the plug and turn the amp, it is imperative to remove the screwdriver and allen key!

I had to "grind" burrs from plastic nut, adjust the height of the pickups (especially to fill the huge power difference between lipstick and double), tighten all screws and nuts for mechanical relax slightly sleeve to prevent the strings do verge on the frets and adjust the string height at the bridge.
Briefly, after a bit of violin, you get the expected result ...


UTILIZATION

I bought new almost two months ago. So once you have spent a little time to adjust and that real strings have replaced the son fishing fitted as original, we get a very good guitar for a small fee (250 € in a music store) .
I had the time to use it in rehearsals and live, I can confirm she is very nice to play, with a thin neck and quick. on the other hand it is rather heavy and I had to invest in a strap that hangs because it is not well balanced (if we loose, it tends to "nose dive "...).


SOUNDS

I play several different styles (pop, rock, funk, blues, country, ...) and she does well in all situations. I was not surprised the dynamics and the sound of the pickups, although I intend to replace them in some time. Clearly as saturated, it is precise. Between lipstick and twice, we go round the warm and rhythmic clapping to solo with a lot of fun.
I play on a Peavey Studio Pro 112 (65W transistors) with a few analog effects, it works pretty well.

OVERALL OPINION

Overall, the value is correct. I tried some more expensive models from other manufacturers and this Samick has really nothing to be ashamed. You just take the time to do its settings (and especially to know them) ...
So for now I have no regrets and I would do the same choice.
