It's going to do now almost a year I use the SR40 GB40 Diversity and it is clear that in sound there is nothing to say.
No problem of latency, the attack is nickel. The sound is really clean.
I'm all for more than 20 meters from the receiver and it still works with nickel.
I RPET a pice quite small and the fact that there have lots of walls, windows that could facilitate rpercution shall affect the sound of absolutely no reception. Inside and out, it works perfectly.
No problem to be cot l.
The sound is really nickel. There There's just a breath trs trslger background that can not ditingue also sounds as low output. This is the same souflle that you can hear when you cost the radio, so trs trs little audible. If in addition will have one by derrire rducteur noise, the sound will be even cleaner.
With a normal cell, the GB40 can take about 12-13 hours without changing it.
Now I myself opt for rechargeable batteries and with it can take between 6 and 8 H without recharging. If you ever CU40 charger, just put the above GB40 for the rechargeable battery fully recharges in less than an hour.
So, just leave it in its GB40 times or not using it.
Ds I had the GB40 and SR40 Diversity I did absolutely nothing rgler. I plugged and I jou. No problem at this level then the.
The GB40 HOLDS really well on guitar input jack with bowl (on the body, such as strats so). On guitars with between jack on the side of the body (as in Paul), it moves a little, especially if one makes a bit upset zik! But the prob rgler there is a strap sold to secure the GB40 on this type of scratch.
So it is clear that prfrable to have a scratch with a dish type from jack to have a GB40 steady.
Otherwise I put it on my Electro-Acoustic and nickel is ca. It was really cool to be able to put any scratches on GB40 in less than 2 sec!
It is clear that after trying it's hard to get back to a jack plug your guitar.
Even when it is really up to play without bothering to take the foot in the cables!
THE FIRST thing that struck me was the size of the director, really tiny and lightweight, enough to keep quiet about the instrument.
It is powered by a single battery type LR03 (AAA), so be sure to always have door hand, autonomy is not gniale. I used that with rechargeable batteries, about six to eight hours of battery life.
Door: no problem, has not only dcroche and aragi without latency.
Sound: a guitar, it trs own, a little breath, but nothing mchant.
On a passive bass: same, nickel works.
On a low active: dsillusions, the sound saturates, even with the gain rglage at least on the GB40, and as my main use is with active basses, I'm obliged to t back to the store.
J'cris If this opinion is not to go down this product is of good quality but to warn future users bassists. It seems that at AKG, we do not thoroughly test the product. I prcise The models of my basses that are saturating the GB40: Ibanez SR400 micro Bartolini, EMG Ibanez SR800 micro and Washburn XB400.
Note that in the store, I also test with an Ibanez SR500, and has worked flawless, like what, the best thing to try before buying.
Even when I did a concert with, and it's really nice to be able to jump around, not afraid to pull the cable, and GB40 is really good condition to the small Velcro (supplied) on instrument, say nothing of the ct.
Finally, I got drawback but it is a pity, because apart from this problem too lev gain is a good product in its price range.

Quote: - How long have you use it? A little over a year.

Quote: - What is the particular feature you like best and least? Most: The size, rapid development, the lack of compactness between the cable jack and the director is not always very practical fix the strap with the directors usual The adaptability MODELS many guitars / basses.
The least: The relative fragility of the craft, and more particularly the articulation of the connector that does not seem robust and trs shows some slack when the transmitter is connected. The "lachetquot; the responsibility of the joint that requires a way to use anger body of the guitar against the director. The piece of velcro that came with the machine is not a tr s great help if, like me, we use several guitars. TIP: Plutt the small velcro ridiculous book by AKG, look like me in a ball of patafix (the yellow used by pte coli to put posters in mrs) you lgrement flattened under the tail of the bug that comes so naturally to anger against the guitar while Manir is stable and without a trace.
Also in the least, autonomy, but it is not related directly to the GB40, but plutt puisance the batteries. Personally, I use a battery (rechargeable battery) and for this type of format, battery LR03 (AAA) of more than 950mAh are hard to find while the LR06 see 2600mA of 2500 are relatively easy to find in supermarkets. I use also a PT40 by way of secondary director, for its part, uses LR06 (AA type so). The autonomy of the latter is simply extraordinary face the GB40.
In fact, I use my normment directors at work (I am a teacher of guitar / bass) and I often have journalists of course 7:30 8:30 non-stop.
The GB40 gnralement does no more than 4 rechargeable batteries with 5 hours and about 6 to 7 hours of good quality alkaline batteries. Attention j'tteins the GB40 whenever possible. However, the battery AAA 850mA I could find is not the case more than five hours in a row.
Conversely, with m ^ m using my PT40 AA 2500mA battery with easily fits two days or more between 18 and 24 full hours of use.
In fact, my set is a WMS40PRO which comes with a silent and a PT40 + GB40 MicroSerre header. I bought a cable sold by AKG to replace the mic with a jack. This cable will score only 23 making it possible to have two double and a director Receivers for less by buying The elements separately.
Anyway, for those history of independence, I have no doubt that the UK could achieve the perf m ^ m if we can find batteries more powerful than 850 mA ...
By the way, if you mfiez DCID to buy a charger AKG because I opt for the cheapest, the CU40, and unfortunately, the PT40 is not compatible. Only the GB40 and HT40 poss can be the base of the charger. The other models, CU400CU4000 and are compatible with the PT, and HT, but not with the GB. So ...
Quote: - Have you tried many other models before acqurir? Some over the years, but finally, I never really stopped m'tais a MODEL in particular.
Quote: - How do you report qualitprix? Plutt good. M ^ m it must be admitted that to a zenith with him is out of question because the door.
For small scne, no problem, but should not ask too much either.
Quote: - With the exprience, you do again this choice? ... To use that I have, yes.
