OVERALL OPINION

How long have you use it?

10 months, before I had a line 6 spider II 212 (must start with something ....)

What is the particular feature you like best and least?

Amp "inspired" the Matchless DC30 (not a clone)
Channel 1: 2 12AX7
Channel 2: 1 ECC83 (EF86 and not like the original)

Here we have something quite similar to the DC-30 (there is still the lack of a third 12AX7 in channel 1 and the replacement of a ECC83 EF86 channel 2)
Power is 30w with the possibility to switch on two EL84 for "pass" in 15w, the difference is not huge but it helps. (Think switcher output impedance if made)

Separate loop for each channel effect, a note that can be grouped returns.
This is personally what I do because I use an ABY box before the amp but I'd rather have a loop effect.
HP 2 are different (like the original), which enriches' partly sound and allows for more versatility when recording.
Note the presence of a switch to reverse the phase of HP, useful when transplanted to the amp live on an average scene with his mix of scene / her facade.

The settings are simplistic, Bass and Treble on channel 1 and a low-cut (6 db / oct) on channel 2 filter that removes the bottom and "body"

The only BIG drawback of the amp (for me the biggest)
If I want a Clean on my channel 1 and a slight crunch on channel 2, those above will NOT AT ALL an equal volume. For an equal volume if the volume of channel 1 is 5, the channel 2 must be 1 see 2.
Result 2 channel sound is pretty bad.
To remedy ca I think use a clean boost in the preamp output of channel 1 to keep a clean sound but can play the balance of volumes.

To summarize the sounds of the two canals, one is very close to an AC30, very good clean or nice crunch depending on the volume. With excellent sound between 3 and 7/8 (after that is a little too rough for my taste)
Channel 2 is it denser, "big rock" with a somewhat different attack.
For channel 2 "sounds" should be pushing to at least 4/5 result was a much more important than channel 1 volume.
It is therefore difficult to use this amp with a ABY box as an amp "clean channel / channel dist"

Otherwise I love the overall sound. With a slight preference for channel 1. (This is not bad due to my style of music)

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a groin 15 days. I have not tried a lot of style, but I prefer to Blackstars / Fender this price range.
I hear very good amps every day (due to my job) and this one frankly not to be ashamed as you go to a Rock Shoegaze style UK / Bluerock / Indie Rock /

Amp 30w lamps (4 EL84 and ECC83 for the preamp and a rectifier), no reverb, 2 independent channels without switch, not channel 2 inputs (hi and low). This is a truly vintage amp in mind, many inputs, hp are average, I have fender blue alnico sounding much better. I love this amp for its versatility, it is a bit of a AC30 and a Fender but the color typical of these amps (I recommend other models if you are looking for the AC30).
It is very pretty and manufacture did nothing wrong so we can walk without fear of farting something. On stage, he will provide a power attenuator for the volume a bit pushed this is the best but it sounds too strong to be transplanted. I added a reverb Alesis Quadraverb with SFTP, there is magic on the amp is not far from pro reverb.
There are two effects loops in a channel so basically you can have two completely different sounds, but if they have a switch ...

It is really typical vintage so it is good for the taf everything before 80, the heavy metal is not terrible in this type of amp but for the shoegazing and deaf neighbors it does.

2 years, I've had great vintage amps, but it suits me perfectly as beautiful, the sound is okay and I think we can arrange it so that it sounds better, especially the change hp . Its low prices all competition under 400 €.

OVERALL OPINION

- A week of tests and comparisons with my Vox AC15 cc1x which I use as reference.
Guitar used: Ibanez JS1000, R 360, Aria TA61.
Style jazz, blues, rock.
Use of lounge volume was socially acceptable.
The result satisfies me greatly to the smoothness and accuracy of reproduction of high frequencies which are enveloped by the low frequency ... very good balance for my ears.
- No breath is less than 7 or vibration 50Hz. because transformers are oversized.
- Only criticism due has use of living as I did: the fan. cooling team means this amp is less than a meter away but less than a PC.

- View her weight, it does not move the show going.
- No reverb and tremolo but it's not a handicap because I use a pedal logitech RV7 and few amps satisfactory for this purpose built.
- The knobs transmit a feeling of robustness due to their firmness of rotation.
- The best finishes are seeing better than the usual references, its price in sale at woodbrass right now is an excellent choice for wallet and ears ... if sound is your target. For those who need a prestigious ... is another matter.
