So here I am posting the first to review this amp! Class ...

I begin with some history.

Diezel is a brand that is known in the trs amateur (wrong) but in the middle plutt pro because a lot of artists are known on these plutt amp.

These are amps made by hand by Peter Diezel and his team (even by 10 technicians!) In southern Germany, Frontire of the Czech Republic.
It's not a super big production because they come about 700 amps per year!!

At least I am sr there were 36,000 pes hand tamper that came into my amp!
First, be aware that this amp is available in 3 MODELS:

- The head 100w
- The head 50w
- And the combo with reverb 50w

I possde the head 100w.

The Diezel Einstein is a two channel amp lamps which are indpendantes eq, eq each channel's what ...
The legalization of 3 bands (bass and mdiums Agues) and there are SETTING THE "Deep" and "Presence" who officiate on the power amp, and therefore the two channels.

It is a 2 channel amp but do not mean a clear sound and a distortion. In fact, channel 1 has a slecteur modes and these modes are completely DIFFERENT. I will explain in dtails the sounds of these modes in the "A Quality Sound".

Mode 1: Clean, well as the name suggests, it's a clean (clear sound for those who are not fully bilingual)

Mode 2: Texas, a clean sound when the gain is quite low but quickly begins cruncher and adjacent background is a good disto

Mode 3: Mega, is a way that bears his name quite well! A lot of gain, trs progressive and fairly typ "Brown" ds we Exceeds knob half the gain.

Well, we'll start with dcrire "physiquemment" amp

So from left to right, then:

- Between the jack, yeah it's always better to have a
- Slecteur the channel, 1 or 2. Attention, channel 2 is at the top!
- Slecteur the modes just below the channel slecteur
- The gain knob
- The volume (one per channel, it is a good ide trs)
- The Agues
- The mdiums
- Low
- SETTING THE the power amplifier, "Deep" and "Presence"
- Masters 1 & 2 (1: volume general; 2: volume "solo")
- And finally the buttons turn on the amp.

Derrire, from left to right:

- The power supply plug
- Fuses the power tubes (one fuse per pair of lamps)
- Entries for the footswitch (optional with the head, but comes with the combo, weird)
- The effects loop SERIES
- The effect bouble parallle with a volume SETTING THE
- Exit "Recording"
- Outputs the number of 5 hp to diffrent inpdances.

In short, nothing is missing

It is a well built amp and trs hyper solid.

A small "plus", the ventilation is really good think because the grids of the front and rear are "pierced" the "d" of Diezel.

I put 9 because the footswitch would be p comes with the amp.

UTILIZATION

Amp very easy to use, it is an argument with my purchase.

It plugs into the "in", is lit, it RULES volumes and bam, take thee full of cum.

This gives fast enough that you want to like her but you have to fiddle with the amp a little to exploit its possibilities. This will be a shame not to do it elsewhere!

It's been almost two weeks that I used and I have yet to exploit half of its potential but I think it's impossible not to be satisfied with the sound of this amp. Personally, j'tait same, you know, fascinated ...

Hint, the manual is not in French but English and German.

SOUNDS

Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh I rjouissais to come here. This is yet another argument with my purchase. Basically, a ring !!!!!!!

We will order and ProCD mthode (intellignet was this sentence!)

Clean: (channel 1, mode 1): Fender trs, trs clear, shiny, what to say, beautiful! In addition, even low volume meaning that the dynamic Submitted trs. With my Start, I was taken to SRV, although I do not play like him!! on the other hand, you will not get easily a large pitcher on this mode ...

Texas (Channel 1, mode2) with the gain low enough, we get a clean sound but more fat than one mode. When you go up the gain, crunch has really good for blues or blues-rock. Spent half the knob gain, so like a JCM 800!! Beyond the 3 / 4, we have a JCM800 super eights. I think that's the way the most difficult because it is versatile enough dcrire.

Mega (channel 1, mode3) then the terrible. When I got all my friend Michael to try to Einstein, I thought be on Channel 2! This means ...
The sound is fairly typical Marshall with the gain fairly low and spent half her we find the "Brown" by Van Halen (ah, just him ...). Obviously, all shots are allowed but I love that sound.

Channel 2: then the slap in the middle of the big murge!! Obviously it is possible to make large (a'll be a pity to miss out) but you can also type a lil solo Quiet, comfortable without worry. It's super versatile! Forthe tunings on land, I think it has to give as much but I'm not a fan of that kind of stuff. I went down and ... ouaaahhh R!

Be careful, there's gain but not as tight as in Engl Power Ball (aaah, I can not stand the texture of this amp!)

Résumé to the sounds, but it is standard, my surprise, super versatile (yet another argument with my purchase).

It parat that Einstein is less typemtal the VH4 and Herbert Diezel home but me, me. Besides, my friend Michel wanted to buy a rack to replace his VH4 (VHT VHT 2/90/2 and GP3), but when he tries, he finds trsmtal and too cold for him. A ct of VH4, there was a combo Einstein, he tried and ordered the head!!

Oh, yeah. I play pop / rock mtal's not too violent but I like it when There's sound and EHJV derrire.

As I use a guitar Cort X-Custom (TB4/SH2 Seymour Duncan), a Squier Stratocaster bridge team in a Hot Rails Seymour Duncan in a pair of baffles and Mesa / Boogie EVM12L (hp Electro-Voice )

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for almost two weeks and will certainly notice about mods but I do it again this choice a thousand times. I retain for the time

- Sounds
- Versatility
- The simplicity of use
- Manufacture by hand, which is still better than machines
- Diezel service and are super friendly and really know our answer people's questions. Not need to be a super scratch that possde 30 Diezel lice have a response.
It takes time because they often rpondent within 3 7 days but it is always with sympathy and with Intrets for their (future) customers

This is the all-tube 50W combo (2xEL34 in power and six 12AX7 preamp in with test system's bias in order to facilitate the change of light) with HP 12 "(Celestion Vintage 30).

Comprehensive connectivity: effects loops serial and parallel outputs for HP (2x4, 2x8 and 1x16ohms), a fuse, line-out ("Compensated Out") input jack and two footswitches (one for changing the master and channel , and 1 for the spring reverb and Accutonics 12AT7 tube).

2 independent channels, the first having three different modes: Clean, Texas and Mega (see previous review for details). Each channel has its own EQ (bass, mid, treble), its setting reverb, volume and gain.
Two different masters + settings + deep presence and buttons start and stand-by.

Just a little flat at the footswitches, as to a change in the mode of channel 1 would have been welcome. It is nevertheless possible to make this change yourself or have it done (see http://www.tubelit.de/einsteinroadie.html).

UTILIZATION

The amp is very simple to learn, and play with the various knobs really gives rare sensations! This is the foot to move from a clear lens cleaner to a crunch and then to distos super modern! : P

It would have been nice to add a paper in the box, but ... a French version would also be a plus, but I quibble ...

SOUNDS

I play a PRS guitar, and I can get almost anything I want in tones so this amp is versatile ...
A friend described his perception of this amp as a compromise between Marshall and Mesa / Boogie in sound: warm and dry at a time. The AC / DC? No worries! Of its modern and consors to Metallica? No problemo! Want to clear fenderriens? Either No problem!
It is really possible to get the sound you're looking at playing on the different settings available to us. Also the sound is bad enough at low volumes.
I will not go into details of the different modes / channels, it is very well described in the previous opinion ...

Oh just one detail: the combo comes in the form of a firm rather small (compared to a Rect-O-Verb for example) to 31kg, and yet the only HP is moving!! During my various tests I found that he was sending as much as other combos with 2 HPs 100W ...

I do not 10 as I am sure that with a little more distance I will find a sound that I can not find on this amp ... But it is a "maybe", and by then I was even more amazed by the performance of this amp ...

OVERALL OPINION

Bought yesterday, but tried for endless weeks, and compared different brands (Bogner, Carvin, Marshall, Rivera, Mesa, Brunetti, etc. .)...

Strengths: versatility, sound, performance, its small size, its look and feel to own a unique piece .

Weaknesses: its high price despite a quality / price, and the few micro-details that I listed above ...

Header tube amp that exists verson 50w or 100w (as well as combo50w), with the power stage 4 and 6 12AX7 EL34, shielded by préampli.Je owns the 100W version.
-The set is very robust and reminiscent of the manufacturing ENGL amps: 2 being all German brands, so set to face the full touring hurricane!

-In connection, there is everything you need: 1 input, 5 outputs HP, a record output, 2 loops series and parallel effects with level control, 2 footswitch inputs, and ultimate luxury: 2 fuses with LEDs for setting Bias: in other words, you can put any power tubes!

No reverb, but we know that this is not a failure (although the combo it is of good quality).
And surprise: a footswitch (supplied) to switch channels (not patterns!) And two master volume.

UTILIZATION

-Configuration is very simple: everything is in front (as opposed to Mesa!) With gain settings, volume, treble, middle, bass, separate the two channels, a general control of presence, 1 other deep bass, 2 master volumes that can help for solos, and finally a 3-position selector for the first channel modes (clean, texas, mega).

-With regard to the sound you should try at least once to understand: This is madness! It has a lot of dynamics and grain. on the other hand you need a certain volume to get the true sound especially in large distos! Having said all shades of settings are good condtion to not fall into the extremes!

-As for the manual-you have to download the site Diezel, but it contains valuable information on the effects loop and Bias settings.

-My only regret is not able to access the first three modes of channel footswitch! Surely a business strategy because the VH4, she does.

SOUNDS

-This amp is very versatile, with really good clean sounds very full and warm, subtle crunch of gritty, very distos of Van Hallen and super Marshall, and High-gain both modern and vintage. Indeed, the 2nd channel sends harsh! It is not enough for the Trash-Metal-gore-depht ennervé but for the Big Rock breath away here! Please note this amp is very powerful, next to some others it seems more powerful 100W! Making it difficult to make it sound at low volume, normal.

-Its only flaw is related to the high gain: there are some polyphony when you put the volume! It is better not to go away jealous bees around!

"I used guitar Reb Beach Suhr Classic and signature, PRS Custom22Birds and a Telecaster with a luthier friend (with a Tom Anderson this is good too): in other words all types of sounds giutares are respected and even put forward!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a month and my only regret is not having the test done live on stage. Otherwise it is this recording in the mix and it is recognized that grain Diezel fabulous (we may not like, it's a matter of opinion). I tried the combo is very interesting, but little avail, and I could not resist! Hats off to MusicStore in Germany for their reliability and service quality.
For the head-cons is not light! But its original spread out the weight.

Be careful though, because the selection of the firm are very important: I use my VHT Deliverance 2x12 (good association) and a Custom Audio 2x12 vintage 30 (a little too sharp)

The-value: price is excellent! Run a try!

Everything has already been said. Except that Einstein is a tribute to Peter Diezel dog (some models are also traces of dog paws! Amateurs 30 million friends DARK!

(8) no MIDI implementation possible, only two channels (even with all the little buttons)!

UTILIZATION

No, the configuration is nutcrackers! A wise guy had fun putting on Channel 1, the clean, the crunch and distortion ... suddenly, it's crap at handling (if you pardon the expression, which is very French and listed in dictionaries noblest).

No noon as stated above, for-against, it is still entitled to two volumes, which is good.

(5) ouaif could do better!

SOUNDS

The clean is something about this amp! Simply one of the very good cleans the moment. It was light but still the clean side of a clean German, it has enough heat and is very deep. Allows himself to be used for a variety of genres!

The transition clean / crunch is successful here, even if I did not fall over backwards. The sound is still built around the fucking Bzzzz, it sounds too diode, but it is a general feature of Diezel amps. Me it bothers me, others find it great!

The crunch is good, good punk that I like, but it's really in the high gain that I was very impressed. If you want to do with this metal monster, no problem, try to approve it. There's a British side in the sound, but always with that typical side transistor and the heat lamp! What more!

OVERALL OPINION

It's good stuff, reliable, good sounding, but I would not buy because it does not sound I'm looking for. But I can advise!

To the remark of Fx-men: I actually put the question to Peter and that, even if he grinds his teeth, a business strategy. He does not want this model to compete with the VH4 (which he could because the sound is more alive).

This is a cool little amp that has some versatility but will always sound like a Diezel. I didn't find much use for it other than the higher gain channel/ mode. The first channel is a clean to moderate sizzle if you can call it that. The second seems more of options to fill the amp rather than make it usable. The third mode called Mega is where this thing really shines. It has a great and very forgiving gain staging...which is what I feel Diezel does best. There gain is world renown and it makes it hard to do much else with the amp. Control are as follows.

Channels: 2 independent channels. channel one with three modes (Clean, Texas, Mega)
Loops: Serial and paralel
Equalization: Each channel treble, middle, bass addtionally presence and deep for the output section

One thing Diezel is known for is making a very user friendly front panel layout. It could get intimidating if your used to plexi layouts but with just minutes you can pretty much figure this out if you have spent anytime turning on a computer.

The first couple modes were pretty pointless to me. It didn't feel or really sound like something you would use for Texas blues or classic rock crunch. They can do those tones some what but for me Diezel is all about the crunch that they do so well.

The high output gain really came alive when engaged and I felt like goofing around with this thing until I click this option on. I think Diezel could just save some money and make this a one channel amp with this function only. However, someone else may find the first two modes somewhat of use.

I didn't use any manual because it was used and for me I am familiar with Diezels so I didn't think it was necessary. Tone really comes from playing around with your preferred settings anyway. So just playing around for a few minutes will have ample amount of amp discovery.

I was using a PRS and a Strat for most of my playing with this amp and I pretty much stay on the Mega mode function. It seems most amps try to do many things but do one thing really well.....Mega mode to me is what it does really well. So I stayed on that function the entire time. Though this combo comes with a Celestion K100 speaker I think it might do a bit more justice it is have some sort of greenback speaker. Since it has this Texas tone thing going on I would like a lower wattage speaker to get those early speaker distortion tones.

The tone I was chasing was a saturated gain that would be present in heavy rock/metal. I didn't try any drop tunings with it. Not really the player that I am so just 440 and half step is where I generally stay.

I would say that the EQ was very efficient and usable throughout the spectrum. For me I find that sweet spot and stick with it. Once I got to Mega mode I didn't veer to far from that point.

OVERALL OPINION

I think this amp is a little over priced for what it is. It is built very well but I just didn't find much use for the other functions. The quality and workmanship was done very well.

At new this amp is $3800, which is a lot of money. I know that there is a lot of freight added coming from Germany, so if you want this amp I would suggest getting it on the used market and let someone else take the hit for you.

I've played the VH4, Herbert, Schimdt, and the Einy. This one is a good intro into the Diezel club. I had fund playing it at lower volumes and stage levels as well. This is a keeper amp, unless you want to get a Herbert or VH4.

As usual, I do not know the value of 50 watts. Home is too much on stage without it going up Repik third maximum, and with it goes down Repik with microphone in front ... So it was always a huge margin of 30 watt amp for this kind might have been better to use the full potential ..

UTILIZATION

Configuration very simple, it connects and it's gone! No need for manual channel 1, 3 modes: clean, crunch, distortion and channel 2: lead. 2 masters, and that's really good! 2 channels at the beginning seemed inadequate, but actually not, you can use the 2nd channel distortion and hop like a blow switch and passes to the master 2: same but its hard to + the lead!
A small scale would have been welcome to memorize the location of the knobs in balance ...

SOUNDS

It is perfect for what I wanted: simple, big big sound, but also very versatile, and high-precision AC not drool. As a pal told me: it's all ready for his studio leaves the chamber ^ ^
I play PRS Custom 22 and Chris Henderson signature. Until now on Hughes & Kettner and vox ToneLab .. the bin once I redo the whole set of effects ..
I play in a french rock band, and my project + U.S. rock and with the right setup, it niquel for 2!
It is true that the hack to change the 3 modes of channel 1 is tempting, but for now I do not feel the need, at worst jme ptite takes a pedal for crunch through ..

purchased in March 2010, I tried a few models "equivalent" mesa .. But I have not been satisfied, there is good, and in addition there are more proud to have a piece a little unique, a brand popular with large (metallica, muse, Mark Tremonti ... ) and all connoisseurs rave before, just for that it does

The Diezel Einsten is available as a 50W or 100W all tube head, or as a 50W combo. All units are hand made in Germany. It is a 2 channel amp with independent EQ for each channel
Also equipped with 2 loops: a parallel and Serial and can take a wide variety of power amp tubes: EL34, 6550, and has external bias points. Mine is equipped with Ruby El34BHT (stock tubes)

Channel 1 has three independent modes that share the same EQ: Clean, Crunch and Mega. And channel 2 is the Lead channel. Both voiced specifically for their purpose

Controls: Gain, Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass, Presence and Depth and Dual Master Volumes (Footswitchable). No MIDI.

The back of the amp has inputs for 4, 8 and 16 Ohm loads, as well as the Send and Returns for both effects loops and the footswitch

UTILIZATION

Very easy amplifier to set up and dial in the sounds. Sounds very good with all knobs at 12' Oclock. The construction is top notch, the attention to detail is spectacular. The customer support from Diezel is first class, although I have never had a single issue with the amp. The amplifier is easy to service and change tubes due to the external bias points, which avoids having to send the amp to a qualified tech every time you want to change something.


SOUNDS

The amp is not only a metal monster as one might expect. It is the most vintage voiced of all the Diezel line, with the exception of the Schmidt.

Channel 1 Mode 1 (Clean): The clean channel is really good for a high gain amp. It is a very neutral sounding clean. Goes from very clean to slight breakup, depending of course on the guitar and nature of the pickups.

Channel 1 Mode 2 (Texas): This channel can do everything and might be the flagship of the amplifier. It goes from clean with the volume rolled off in the guitar to JCM800 type Marshall tones. Hit it with a clean boost and you have enough gain for almost any application. Very british in nature, lots of note articulation and definition.

Channel 1 Mode 3 (Mega): Best suited for high gain rhythm playing. Can cope with detuned riffs easily and has a unique voicing that gives the Diezel trademark sound. The low end stays very tight. Can be used for soloing although it is not quite liquid. Has enough gain for any style including the heaviest of modern metal music.

Channel 2: Very liquid distortion better suited for soloing, has more gain than the Mega mode in the first channel. Lots of harmonics and definition. Excellent for what it is meant

OVERALL OPINION

My only complaint is that the modes on the first channel are not footswitchable and that the amplifier is not MIDI equipped.

Having said that the Diezel Einstein is a precision built quality amplifier that should last a lifetime.

I would buy the amp once again with no hesitation .
