UTILIZATION

Configuration can be very simple and too simple, even when it's a shame to have only one legalization, although we get a good sound with 4 channels easily. To beginners can be a little if we do not know rgler an amp properly. Here should be no knob tourn background, especially when you're used to transistor amp ... It is better to start with just 12 (mostly bass, middle, treble) and "sculpt" the sound its convenience.

SOUNDS

I am playing mostly metal: thrash, death, black and a little of everything (rock, blues, jazz, pop) and this amp does it all!
The clean is super clean, slamming, clear, prcis. We can make it hot by playing with the legalization, the micro scratches and scrapes of Tone.
The crunch is great for the old blues spot, I love. With a simple and microphone volume clean, the sound is almost clear with humbuckers, a good crunch.
The low lead is great to go from a nice little crunch (microphones simple intermdiaire) a big hard rock crunch fawn with humbuckers.
The high lead: it's the big avoinerie, send the cavalry! to go from thrash to black is done. For it is not against a Mesa recto distortion type is not trsnomtal is more prcis and compress but can do it too.

The only default is to the metal in the rhythmic group, open a combo is far from being the IDAL. Better off adding an enclosure 1 12 * at least as ENGL 112V.

I really like all the sounds.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 years and a half, the only default that I blame him is the fact of being open and a combo that I am a big nag who plays the metal group. So it was for me to sell because I invested in a head NOS DVL. But otherwise this amp is excellent, in the same price range, it's simple, there is no competitor other amps sound better in some records (for the clean fender?) But none as versatile.
With the exprience and the same budget, I would do without this choice hsiter.
ENGL live, long live the Screamer lol!
