UTILIZATION

For any owner or user of a regular amp getting started is quick after all. It will count néanmmoins few hours fiddling with the knobs before finding a balanced sound corresponding to his musical aesthetic! It may be noted that for many tube amps, for that matter .. Amp transistors owners, be patient.

"Gets it easy to sound good?" This is where experience plays, of course. The tube amp is virtually an organic being (heat lamps gradually age, the HP too;) the sound will change with the settings, automation etc. .. It will take several months of use in various situations (repeat concerts) before finding his SON! Néanmmoins can note that the clean sounds are brilliant and accurate when the distortion is large rock oriented frankly see metal according to the settings.

The manual explains the specifications of the machine. Paid users to be inspired to make the best of the beast.

SOUNDS

- Will it fit your style of music? Yes, I am lead guitarist in training power pop / progressive.

"I played with in a '67 Gibson Flying V and a Mexican Fender Stratocaster.

In his clear-I boost the sound of the amp with a compressor pedal that Marshall does not alter the purity of the sound of the amp. Extremely precise clear sound. I leave the knobs at 12 o'clock for all my sounds, except highs (treble) I decline to 10 hours because the screamer is screaming in the treble. Hence its name, just be aware!
In an MXR distortion j'utilse double shot distortion, which allows me to equalize my distortion from the pedal without touching the amp settings. Sometimes I used the distortion of the Screamer (I have the pedal dedicated Z5) but I find it a bit messy with a high level of gain.
I love the clear sound, very successful, accurate and beautiful. The distortion is oriented native metal, for sure. Néanmmoins added with a pedal in its chain of effects you can sculpt the sound at will.
I do not hate nothing in the sound of this amp.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this amp for six months in rehearsal and live.

- "What is so special that you love the most, the least?" This is most of this amp is definitely value for money. There are or Fender amps Marschall more expensive and less efficient. What I like least, frankly, always given the value for money .. Nothing!

I am very happy with this purchase and I put money aside while waiting to buy a 4 * 12 cab has plan to cut the same brand.
