Published on 06/24/14 at 10:28it is famous all 40w lamps in fender made in mexico.
For my part, I had to change all the lights because some began to tire ...
I am therefore be installed instead of the electro-harmonix 12AX7 (3) for the preamp section and Sovtek 6L6 (2) for the power stage.
result; the sound is different, more accurate.
the control panel from left to right; instrument input 1, input 2 instrument, white button "bright normal" volume its clear, white button "more drive" drive (gain knob overdrive channel), treble, bass, middle, white button "select channel" (to move from one channel to another), master (volume knob overdrive channel), reverb, presence, preamp out, power amp in, footswitch, red led commissioning, switch 2 positions on / stadby, switch 2 position on / off.
UTILIZATION
the configuration of the control panel is quite affordable but requires a little time to adapt; this is not the vox of brian may with just a master volume knob and basta!
the manual provides sufficient information for setting up, maintenance of lamps and everything else; this is sufficient, clear and neat.
the sound is good in a fender; Me, I like it.
SOUNDS
This is an amp that, for me, is well suited to rock to blues to funk, country and jazz.
it has a dynamic sound to blow your eardrums quickly; nothing but the 2.5 amp is untenable front baffle!
In addition, given that I'm changing lamps, the sound is much more accurate and, arpeggios and other, it sounds much better!
I used it with my parker equipped with DiMarzio and my imitation Ibanez RG equipped with EMG 85.
having changed the lamps clearly facilitates sculpture sound via the 3-band EQ bass and treble medium.
I think the presence button adds much treble but does not remove unlike laney lionheart it is much more versatile and issue its possibilities!
the sound is saturated blues on the drive channel (yellow light) and it is really excellent!
nothing to say on that side!
I clicks the "more drive" button (red light) and sound takes more gain but still in the same line; is like taking a blues overdrive and add a compressor pedal / sustain; here extends the time notes here and share more easily feedback!
I've always liked about this amp is the possibility of relief in each contested plectrum note; this is a plus for me because I am in a trip instrumental guitar and it is necessary that I have an amp that has a rather precise sound when overdriven sounds.
the reverb is pretty; it can give more depth to the sound if properly adjusted; this is ideal for rockabilly and others.
OVERALL OPINION
I got it in April 2014.
I was delighted at the outset that I was looking for an amp with a much more metal than Ci-saturation.
my first amp was a fender Vibrochamp 70; I readily acknowledge this dynamic there in the hot rod deluxe.
what I love most; clear sound, the blues, reverb, the black and silver colors of the amp, dynamics, some versatility.
what I like least; inoperable apartment! saturation is limited to a guy like me who loves hard rock and all satrianesques digital acrobatics!
this amp is great as long as you like the styles that I named above; for me, it excels in blues and rock.
with experience, I do not have that choice because I need an amp with high saturation for my delusions digitopalmar instrumentalico-satrianesques! ah! ah!
