Kustom '72 Coupe

All-tube amp with 12AX7 and 4 * 4 * 6L6.Fabriqué at the Cincinnati.
Power of 72 watts.
Rich connectivity with 2 inputs high and low, a series effects loop, emulated DI output to console or sound system with volume control, speaker outputs, pedal input, volume boost, ground lift, and reverse reverb / tremolo for the pedal.
A boost (+10 dB) foot control pedal very effective because it does not change the sound but the volume increases.
A beautiful spring Accutronics reverb with adjustable intensity and type, a tremolo and vibrato adjustable both in speed and intensity.
A EQ (Bass, Mid, Treble) common to the two channels completes the picture.
Careful construction and more "class" with black leather upholstery on the front.
Loupiote blue and red on the amp, blue, yellow and green on the pedal the most beautiful effect and a blue LED for power.
Power on / off and stand by of course.
4 wheels are provided, to advise on transport because with nearly 30 kgs, it is heavy the beast.
Otherwise, it is based on four big black classic shoes.

UTILIZATION

Setup is very simple, no need to take the lead, one branch, we choose the channel, Lead or Rhythm, you send the sauce and boom, that you fart at the figure.La horsepower, there is no doubt.
Particular grain and very American with 4 6L6 (nice change from EL34).
Volume settings on each channel and master, allow a range of sounds impressionnante.Chaque volume knob, if it is fired, increasing the high frequencies while reducing low frequency (ideal for the heavy metal style
We get easily a good son.Je has a Start with Lace Sensor Gold pickups, a PRS Custom 24 and a FRAMUS Renegade Pro with 2 Seymour Duncan SH-1 and SH-4, and regardless of the guitar playing, the sound is excellent after have, of course, adapted to different settings microphones.
The manual is clear and concise but there is no real need

SOUNDS

To play rock, blues or hard rock, this amp works wonders with its various settings.
For metal, it will add it in front, a dedicated Metal pedal but already, by mounting the volume (while splitting the eardrums!) Sends heavy here.
The Rhythm channel is superb, especially with the Strat.Les sounds are slammin and reverb brings a bit of gloss and depth.
As soon as one switches on the Lead channel is the Ride of the Valkyries; impressive with double coils.
In the loop, I plug in a Delay, Chorus, Phaser and a direct Equaliseur.En, a compressor and a Proco Rat 2 Behringer GDI 21.Aucun breath or cracking: awesome!

OVERALL OPINION

I've had three weeks, I replaced my Peavey Classic 50 2 * 12 with its particular grain of the EL34.
It is equipped as two bowls of PEAVEY (KEI => Eminence) for improved spatial sound (which has guided my choice rather than a single 36'Coupe HP 12).
I like the emulated DI output to dub the sound on my PC without scaring the neighbors house next door.
The quality / price is right, it's nine € 1600. I got it on sale nine to € 1200.
It is a good choice I do it again no doubt because its production is a guarantee of U.S. strength and the U.S. suits me well for my style of music.
In any case, try an amp, even its little brother the 36 'Cup is great and more affordable.
