UTILIZATION

configuration is excellent, a full connectivity and the clean sound is very good and the overdrive channel is really nice. The manual was quickly replaced by my ears.
Knob The reverb is shy and you have to go far in the race for the effect significantly.

SOUNDS

For a pop rock record, I do not change it for anything. It does the job! I play with a bunch of skyscrapers, the LP studio in the Telecaster and a real treat

OVERALL OPINION

I put a lot of time finding an amp that I can carry around.

If they would leave one with a 12-hp, I'll line up to buy one right out. A wonderful amp to a most excellent value for money

new range VC, restyled in 2008 at the onset of the range of laney lionheart.
2 * EL84 tad amp (15w) class AB or B
3 * ECC83 preamp selected tad (not "high grade" in V1 position contrary to what is mentioned in the data sheet of the amp.
the control panel is the same as the original version with its 2 channels, only the design of the amp to change the reverb and no longer has jurisdiction, but digital, without being too bad. (equivalent to spring reverb of the first generation without the stress of false contact related to transportation.

UTILIZATION

identical to the first generation except perhaps that by replacing the position ECC83 ECC83 V1 by a "high grade" the clean does dénatureré least at high volume.

OVERALL OPINION

This amp is still a standard recommended despite its small imperfect finish, I am talking aesthetics (eg the logo of mine is not right volume knob not positioned in position 0 ..) it's only short range détaille.la Made in England is always sold at a price made in china.on almost forgive the manufacturer so the little details and finishing does not have relocated the range in its Asian factory as many have done well to have preserved some jobs in Europe.
this is not an amp is a Laney! what else!

UTILIZATION

Using very simple, turn the knobs and the sound changes .... it's magic!
The manual is useless.
Readily obtained a good sound only if one has a good guitar!

SOUNDS

The clean sounds are very pure, that is why I bought it.
I use a telecaster with clean sounds are beautiful with great purity in the sound.
With the FA I type in the blues with some nice crunch to overdrive type 70's rock.
For distos nastiest, add a pedal because ampmli does not saturate much.
I'm using a blackstar htdist, a distal tube. The cash amp pretty well the powerful distortion to go from one register to hard rock extreme metal!
For me the important thing is the beauty of a clear channel, then we can find a good distortion.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this amp for 2 years before I had a transistor amp, so I pout it was a revelation.
What I like most is that it respects the characteristics of the guitar (pickups simple humbuckers, active ...)
At that price and made in England, it sure is serious.
