Lys Amplification Mirage

I'm here to tell you about a new brand of guitar amps upscale French.
And precisely the model "Mirage".
A combo lamp made with a quality never seen before.
The power section is led by 4 EL84 delivering a power of 30W.
The combo includes 2-channel as a basic idea: no compromise on sound ...
1st channel: one in the spirit and Vox with a faithful of the Top Boost channel of an AC30 ... and yet there is something better than a Vox ... you can easily switch between its clean / crunch to more spirited rhythms.
2nd channel: Here comes the genius of the designer at the LYS ... "Fatness" ... akin to a clear channel crunch / lead with a dazzling sound definition.
No unnecessary effects to not distort the sound.
No specific output.
Direct sound the spirit of the guitar.
Side settings: a Volume (Master PPIMV type) ruthlessly efficient lossless!
For channel 1: Bass, Treble and Gain
The 2nd channel: the famous "Fatness" ... single volume pot to "accentuate", "grow" low blow and the gain providing a sound at each position.
The transition between the two channels is managed by an A / B box.
The 2 HP 15W are Tayden and are manufactured exclusively for LYS according to a set of specifications intended by the designer.
No Tolex ... another discovery of LYS and not least in view of exceptional ... a painting worthy of the best brands of piano or car.
There is a standard finish but the possibilities are almost endless ...

UTILIZATION

A very simple configuration to find the sound immediately.
All settings can really act and a surprising range.
It is in the spirit Vox "without compromise" with the greatest mark on the 2nd channel entirely created by LYS
The amp accepts pedals very well ..


SOUNDS

There is clearly above the rest ... I've never heard anything like it.
What is the strength of LYS is clear quality sound that provide its amplifiers.
And nowadays, it is difficult to stand out ... there is little mark on the market have managed to find their sound!
Many brands are "copies" (not pejorative) great standards that have rocked for decades by our diverse influences ... Marshall (Plexi, JCM, JTM ...), Fender, Vox. .. all these iconic brands with "directed" the guitar world among our influences ...
Today, "a few" brands often called "boutique" managed to create their sound based on the major standards like Cornford, Soldano ...
This is where the genius of LYS Amplification: rely, like everyone else, having built on a standard history of the electric guitar but by creating added value that drives the brand to the rank of major.

I tried it with a lot of guitars: Fender Stratocaster CS 56, Series L, a NOS CS 60, a Nik Huber Dolphin in P90 (pure jewel), R9 Gibson, Suhr 10th anniversary ... well that's good! !

OVERALL OPINION

I had the opportunity to test this combo several times before I decided since I'm not necessarily a great lover of combos ... but there ... believe me ... I took a slap that made me change my mind.
Unique sound: based on an AC30 but a voicing LYS specific amplification.
Manufacturing and exemplary finish (the idea of ​​painting is fabulous and totally out of established codes in this area.
Due to the ingredients used, quality manufacturing and the additional costs incurred by the paint finish (imagine what that may cost the paint used, the car ...) and the hours passed, the price / quality ratio is amply justified.
Having tried many brands of high end amps, I think there are really more expensive than Lys and really blow ... below ...
